@bold - Totally! But, like I said, Abir has taken her side over his brother's and also not taken her to task about how she behaves with Mishti. But not just Abir, everyone (including Mishti most of the time) take her behavior very casually. It's as if they want this normalized - Kuhu is rude to Mishti in general and please don't make a big deal of it.
Bond ka one-wayness I don't know if I agree. Sab bonds ke liye zaruri nahi ki equal contribution ho. That they like each other in general and help each other out should be enough. And for her, priority list is clear - what she thinks family wants comes even before Abir. So she will only help him when it doesn't conflict with family's interests. In her mind, that is not back-stabbing. I'm focusing on when she did help him even though she didn't think it was a good idea. I think we are confused because Kuhu herself is confused - she wants to help Abir but not Mishti. That's why this bro bond was always bound to falter if Kuhu and Mishti couldn't mend their relationship. Abir may be OK with most things but his priority is always Mishti.

Yeah, and I have a big problem with this normalization. Makers ki hi galti hai, how in the world they think this rudeness is normal and casual!! Not only they make other characters accept Kuhu's rudeness as normal, they actually continuously have them applaud her awesomeness!

Liking each other and getting along is fine, par thoda give and take ka balance hona chahiye, woh nahin hai yahan.
And Kuhu's priority is not just family's needs and happiness. She doesn't hesitate to sacrifice bro's happiness if she thinks it comes in the way of her own... she didn't think of bro when she disclosed AM's relationship to her family when she overheard Abir was going to ask for Mishti's hand from BP or when asked them to share their mandap with her...
Her happiness trumps over Bro's every single time, but she expects Bro (and everyone else) to always prioritize her over everyone else. This sense of entitlement is what I have an issue with... Itna toh Ketki bhi expect nahin karti Abir se who is her brother by blood.

Haan.. unfortunately, yeh show ek jung se kum nahin hai ab. Hope the makers wrap up this drama soon and mystery track pe aaye. I, for one, am totally confused ki yeh drama kahan ja raha hai, like what's the purpose of this torture! And I am so done with Mishti's "sorry"s
