I may be the odd one out here , but I see it differently 😆 See I can explain, if it makes sense to you ...honestly tera post mast tha and don't even think it was a waste okay
I feel having parallels did work for mishbir in a better way, in other shows what I have observed is leads get married under 150 epis or something and 250 epis tak aate aate story ka ho jaata hai the end 🤣 phir kuchh bhi chalta hai multiple break ups , multiple shaadis bachhe aur bhi bohot kuchh, or usually parivaar pe aa jaati hai faltu ki sankat aur heroine chal padhti hai sabko bachane
In comparison see here , our leads just got married after a year , we had a smooth transition, they explored the stranger phase, the friendship phase , the break up phase, the patch up phase , things are really convincing on the larger part , becusse the attention was decentralized on all the characters, somewhere it gave a chance to mishbir to breathe in between and develop a story that was going slow but was always kept organic .... all the tracks are nothing but just challenges thrown at mishbir's love , sometimes the challenge of trust , understanding, companionship and all .....the other characters have always contributed to the story in large , we understand the importance of light when there is a level of darkness around...zyada nikhar ke aati hai roshni jab vo andhere se ho ke guzarti hai ...
I am happy the entire focus is not on mishbir , but all the tracks revolve around them....that's a smart way to present a story and attract a bigger fanbase ... !!
Right now also if you see , it's a test of mishbir's communication, a situation where both have to understand each other's words, something that they never did before , every track just throws a new challenge which explores some more hidden layers of their personality, I love this wat of story telling more ....
Rahi baat romance ki then definitely we would love to see more but I think they use every realistic opportunity they get - star gazing , holi sequence , shower sequence , poolside...the only problem here is with a new step in their relationship, we as viewers expect a deeper level of intensity with each scene and makers ek hi jagah atke hue hain , which results into a turn off...I hope makers improve in this area
