I was actually just about to ask that. I don't know the steps to do so, but if you're able to get permission, you can count on me being active on there! Kaveri honestly has my whole heart ❤️

I don't really know. If I remember correctly, I think Riya just took the permission and started it off.

I especially loved the discussion around Kunal and agree with DQ that yes, Kunal cared who he married but the deciding criteria was simply not his own feelings. After having made the mistake once with Shweta, and with the way Meenu orchestrated her departure, Kunal did not trust his own feelings/what felt good one bit, and was ready to throw it all away and put complete trust in his mom's judgment. And the thing is, Shweta didn't just break his heart -- she broke a public engagement which was a humiliation for his whole family. He was willing to do just about anything to avoid a repeat of that; precisely why Mishti's rejection, and especially the way she did it, hurt him so much.

His logic at the time was very similar to how Mishti rationalised agreeing to marry Nishant -- I don't trust myself so I will put my trust in those who know me best. This show does a very good job of showing that parents don't always know what's best, even when they are certain they do.

Yes that's correct, you have to request permission from the moderators of the forum to open the AT.

Reasons:

He says that he cannot say the truth while looking into her eyes. ( Because it's hard to lie while looking directly in the eyes, ain't it?)

He is about to say that he doesn't love her but one look at her face and he isn't able to say it. Rather he ends up saying that he doesn't like the idea of love.

Then he continues saying that seeing kuhu, he feels he shouldn't be so negative (and maybe give love another chance?)

He tells her that if mishti hadn't come in between them then he wouldn't have been here for the purpose he had come, because the situation would have been different.( And he would have definitely had feelings for her without any space for hatred).

Also, the physical closeness, and Kunal being so comfortable around kuhu is just another reason. He cages her in between the cupboard and himself but really, when someone has no feelings for another, then who would do that?!

He leans on her shoulder, keeps talking to her is just so adorably cute.

And I completely forgot, he did have a smile on his face when he saw the picture kuhu sent him, of her. That was definitely not pretence.

I know he was guilty of betraying her and that's what brought him to maheshwari house but isn't it a bit of tradition in dkp productions that the groom and bride see each other and have their moments in the bachelor bachelorette track? ( Think of rose-yash, kartik-naira, kirti-naksh if you know what I mean.)

For me, all those reasons just point to one thing, Kunal had growing feelings for her all this while and I think it was the most romantic moment they ever shared, the most heart to heart they ever have been with each other.

I think this was definitely the best kuku scene I have come across until now.

Also, maybe their outfits gave me super fairytale-ish vibes that I might have been a bit biased (teehee🤭) but what do you guys think?

Kiara, I've come to absolutely love this scene! You've written everything I thought about this scene when I re watched it recently. I know he's in a drunken state but I also love the way he's plonked himself on the bed😆.

Internally he's in turmoil but externally it's the most comfortable we've seen him in general and with Kuhu (that's booze for ya😉😆).

It's crazy that the only comparisons I have with the sister show is of older gen; the Naitik-Akshara, Shaurya-Varsha gen😆. Like a lot of people will remember the show for Kaira only but for a few like me it's like a completely diff show altogether now.

@Kiara: Thanks for all those beautiful observations about the bachelor's night scene! I totally agree that the subtext was all about Kunal's feelings for Kuhu and for me this was sealed when Meenakshi triumphantly tells Kunal the next day that it worked out well that he went because now everyone believes he loves Kuhu -- the expression on his face is just 🥺

My other favourite detail in that scene is when Meenu calls and asks where he is and he takes Kuhu's hand and looks straight in her eyes as he replies -- and then goes ahead and hangs up on Meenu and turns his phone off! That and what he says at the hospital before he has to leave Kuhu to check on Abir make me think that when he is following his heart in a totally uninhibited state, he would choose Kuhu over everyone else, but he feels bound to his other relationships as well. That push and pull is what makes their story so compelling.

@Snow: I just LOVE how with this couple, their physical comfort always belies their external conflict. What they say about their feelings doesn't always add up -- in the best way! 😉

so clearly kuhu was justified for hoping kunal to come around even after he kept pushing her away after their 1st wedding

infact I think even during the fake marriage revelation at their 1st SR kuhu says something like 'tum jhooth bol rahe ho, deep down tum mujhse pyaar karte ho'

smart(or rather poor) girl just had too many hints to ignore his latent love

At Janmashtami, she tells him that he was better as a lier than an honest person (tum jhoote hi acche the) because if the fake Kunal hadn't been so great, she wouldn't have fallen so hard for him. It didn't take long for the truth -- that the "fake" Kunal wasn't so fake after all -- to unravel. He was actually that person she fell for, just with a whole lot of anger, betrayal, and confusion in the mix, none of which had anything to do with her.
