I feel like this line works well with them meeting on the road after the holi party and her talking about how people take the past too seriously.

Maybe insert the scene of him putting the mangalsutra around her neck the second time around? That one frame in that scene where he looks at her adoringly during that is so sweet.

I don't know if you're planning on including the chorus ('laagi na choote') in your VM, but if you do, I think the zipper scene works well with that, and maybe the scene when he's laying her on the bed during the humma sequence.

That song choice of yours is so good! It screams of passion ☺️

@aqua: Thank you so much! I definitely encourage you to give it a go. It's so much fun and such a different way to communicate ideas about these two characters and their relationship. My relationship with the whole process went a lot smoother once I discovered that the latest version of iMovie works much better for me than Premiere Rush. After that, it's just tinkering around with the effects and figuring out how things work 😃

I'll be back to brainstorm after I finish this reply!

@Peace: Uff, that piece on why Kunal needs Kuhu more than she needs him was just beautiful! ❤️ And you're right, I think he does see this and is both confused and grateful, as he expressed when they burned the divorce papers. How can someone as boring as me be so important to someone like you? He is yet to see himself through her eyes, as someone who carries so much and still manages not to crumble under the weight of his responsibilities. More than anyone else, Kunal takes himself for granted and I would love to see that change.

I am with you on the separation as well. I wanted it when the divorce was still on the cards but now that Kuhu has made the decision to stay in the marriage, and Kunal has come forward and committed to the relationship publicly, it would seem out of character for either of them to abandon the other. I can see them fighting, being angry with each other, as they were while leaving the resort, but they'll stick together because the foundation of their relationship is family rather than just being a couple, if that makes sense?

I was using the trial version of Premiere Pro and it's so not user friendly. I'm learning on Da Vinci Resolve now and you can edit and mix songs on that!!! I am so excited to try that out. I have always wanted to learn music scoring and mixing and now I can! I will come out of this quarantine as a DJ🤭😋.

For now, I'm trying to make a test VM just to see how this software works. Then, I'll get to making the VM.

Had to go and listen to the song, and it's really pretty.

For the first line in the male voice (in red), I think the scene of Kunal looking at the wedding photo and shedding that lone tear would be great, or some bits from the hospital scene with him holding her hand. Like for Chahun bhi toh tujhse, it could be really cool to show Kunal getting up to leave but returning when Kuhu holds him back?

For the female line (in purple), the clip from the Kalank sequence where they are both standing alone or the one where Kunal walks away after giving her the divorce papers could work for the first line, and then for manzilein jod doon, show clips from the wedding. EDIT: Or better yet, the shot where she walks away from him on the way back from champaner could be perfect!

I think them burning the divorce papers would work great for chahun kabhi na ye toote, and would probably stretch across both lines.

Bad shaayari is my thing. Actually, I have a friend who does stupid shaayari. She's unnaturally good at it. I've just picked up a few things along the way😋.
