So, after Naman tried to kill Naitik, he was sent to jail. Mishti's mother abandoned her to get married again and start a new life. Mishti was left with her Daadi and badi daadi until Naman started blackmailing Devyani for money or something. (Don't remember the whole thing). Devyani sent Mishti away to Rajkot to the Maheshwaris where she thought that Mishti would be safe.
@Are you sure about this Pihu? I am pretty sure that I read in this forum that Mishti doesn't need anyone's money because her father is rich. If Naman is rich why is blackmailing Devyani for money? I am getting confused. 
This is a perfect excuse to start rewatching the show again.

Naman is not rich, is he?? He came for Mishti and Kunal's GD in an auto and also fresh out of jail, if I remember correctly.

naman is out of jail from many years and black mailing BM, even in first epi of our show naman had a car too... he just gets money from BM by using mishti...Naman is not rich, is he?? He came for Mishti and Kunal's GD in an auto and also fresh out of jail, if I remember correctly.
