I watched their confrontation again in hopes of understanding it better. I am still confused about a lot of it 😆... but I am certain about one thing now that editors have not kept all the dialogues in the scene to reduce the length of it and the end result is a jumbled up puzzle with missing pieces!

Meenu tells Abir that the world is going to laugh at us.

Then Abir consoles her saying that if that man left you then the mistake and loss is his, not yours. At that time they are standing quite close too.

Next moment Abir is standing in a different position/angle and further away and argues in frustration that he really doesn’t understand why they are discussing that man!

Meenu’s dialogues are edited in some parts, so Abir’s arguments look totally out of place and some of their conversation is not making sense here

Anyways, moving on... so Let’s dissect Abir’s arguments:

Just to protect her fake self respect, Meenu brought Parul to the house, but then kept her as a servant.

If she really thought that Parul brings her embarrassment then why did she even bring her to the house in the first place and let her stay for this long?

She considers Kunal as her son, then how can his mother bring her embarrassment?

Kunal is as much a son of this house as much as Abir, so his mother(Kunal’s mom Parul) deserves the same respect that she(Abir’s mom Meenu) gets.

Since Meenu is the one who started all this by bringing Parul to the house in the first place, Meenu has no choice but to accept this truth.

Ok, so in a nutshell, Abir’s point is that if the two brothers are equal sons of this house - Meenu herself has always established that (at least to others) - then their mothers should be treated equally too and since Meenu herself has started this by bringing Parul to this house, she has no choice but to accept it this way now.

Phew, while penning this down, I understood it myself too 😆😆

I think Meenu's embarrasment was to let the world know she has been cheated by her husband. She always claims that her husband left her by doing some company jhol but with the truth out people could start making up stories. They might think he left coz of Parul, etc.

But I don't know how fair is it to demand equal position for Parul and Meenu in the Rajvansh house. If it were Kapadia house it would have made sense. But then, this show sometimes shows illogical things so I give up.

BB wouldn’t have expected her husband’s first wife to come with child. It is not very hard for her to implant the thought of parul being the second wife and kunal as naajaz, because Abir is elder to kunal.
So to keep her secrets wrapped, she took parul and kunal under her shelter. At the same time, she took revenge from both of them, she sent Mehul to jail and made parul a servant but she looked after kunal as her own son for her selfish reasons and also to keep parul under her control.

To him it is his baba who cheated on both his mothers. He thinks because of his mom controlling nature she made maasi a servant.

Unknowingly, Abir woke up the animal in her today and she is going to play very cruelly this time.

Abir - Meenu convo looked disjointed but I think they made it look disjointed for more drama.

If people can post a clip of that conversation then I can have a go analysing it.😃Otherwise will wait till it is aired in the UK.

One thing is generation gaps make people see things in different way.

What is so important to the older one is not so to th younger one.

If you and every one else is feeling bad for Meenu, then perhaps her redemption is starting. However, she is such a powerful character I am guessing not just yet. As for the precap, well she is suggesting since Parul is accepted and given a status, she Meenu would take parul's previous status.

It is all power play...

I feel bad for Meenu only if I watch this episode as a separate piece of work. If all her wrongdoings are taken into account then its difficult to feel bad.

She will definitely get hurt by Abir and we had a glimpse of it already when the spiked coffee truth came out.

Now that they have reversed their roles in solving family conflicts. it will land them in an deserted place. I badly want them to work together as a team...But we did see Mishbir discussing with each other today....so there is hope. Didn't BB warn parul that she'll be burnt if she goes near the fire...

The ultimate game is on...Abir has openly challenged BB, so she is going to play very cruelly now...and her target is mishti, parul . She will play in the back end and kuhu in the forefront. on the other side Abir will be at the back end and Mishti / kunal in the forefront...

Justify karne keliye kuch hain toh karungi naa. Abir myt have tweaked situations, but he is no way responsible for the decisions any of these characters took. Even they have brains to decide what is wrong and right. It was Kunal's decision ultimately to make Parul do the ribbon cutting. Likewise in all the other kaands everyone played their part. His game is he understand how people work especially Kunal , Mishti and Meenu.

Arre I was not talking about your justifications. We all troll Mishti and Abir whenever they do something stupid, nothing new in that.
But in general, I see too much justifications - kuch bhi karke negative ko positive bana do! Doesn't matter how much mental gymnastics it requires 😆

I suddenly had to adjust my mental mapping when I saw him coming to power yesterday! Shaheer was brilliant in his dialogue delivery yesterday, I was totally able to see him as an equal to BB 👍🏼

And Rupalji was fantastic in the whole episode! I loved her yesterday! She is a boss lady 😎

Yes, one of my friend in the forum confirmed that during baba track, he himself told meenu something like you got married to an already married man or along those lines.

She is going to play very cruelly now...First target parul which we saw in the precap... she is going to say now that my son wants to give equal rights to parul. I will play parul's role and let parul play my role from today. And that is her first step to gain family sympathy....

What Abir's point is that since you had decided to give both the brothers equal status/rights in the house, in spite of Kunal being Parul's son, it is unfair to have one of the brother's mother being treated as a lower status in the house.

Basically, he wants to stop Meenu from treating Parul as a servant and consider her as any other family member - not necessarily making her an equal to BB in status, but having the same rights as all the other family members.

If Parul was actually living in RV house as a Masi (Meenu's sister) and not a servant, Abir wouldn't have raised any objection.

When he saw how easily Parul could be made a target by anyone or be blamed by anyone (recently with the pill drama), he concluded that is because her status is not that of a family member, but a servant. So he wants to upgrade her to a family member.

In Meenu’s over exaggeration she has dressed up to show equal status as Parul, but that is not what Abir meant by equality for Parul.

This is how I look at it:

Mehul must have married Parul first and then cheated BB when he came to Rajkot looking for work and married her. Then Abir was born.

Mehul must be visiting Parul in between while permanently staying with BB in the pretext of Job.

Parul must not have been able to get pregnant for a long time, and finally when she did Mehul's frauds came out and she came looking for him in Rajkot and learnt about BB and Abir.

So now in all possibility, Parul is the legal wife of Mehul and Kunal is the legitimate son.

And that makes BB's marriage illegal and Abir the illegitimate son of Mehul.

But BB didn't want the world to know that and Parul is not that educated, so BB put a spin on the whole thing and taken Parul in to "save" her son from being called illegitimate while making sure Parul remains indebted to BB all her life and BB gets the upper hand.
