I love this!! Jhhat pat shaadi nahi chahiye yaar but I am so tired of the drama surrounding these two. I would love to see Mishbir wedding with full dhoom dhaam and all of the antics you mentioned but baaki log bhi hai yaar show me and that too such good characters. I am pretty sure they will lose atleast one of the actors after their one year contract is done. My money is on Koslu. Finally jaa kar Baba waale track me kuch character development hua tha Mama ka and then fir back seat de di.

Instead of making both Baba & Meenu pitch-black, they could have explored these 2 characters in grey shades, looking at interpersonal relationships with a grey background.

But it's ending like a joke & they're back to square 1 again, with Meenu plotting against mishbir, bade papa concerned about mishti, song-dance-drama, blackmailing with some explosive/terrible secret *KuKu divorce*, and perhaps a new accomplice-bakra-munna for meenu which I fear will be Kuhu now!

Thank you for appreciating my post itna zyada but I love yours a little more. You have made such great points. I was recently seeing the starting episodes and all the characters had been given screen space so properly. I wish they would get that again. DKP is wasting the potential this show has.

NishMish would have made a landmark if they would have just let that be a platonic relationship but pata nahi kya kaala jaadu karte hai ye writers ki har ladka automatically Mishti ke pyaar me padh jaata hai. I mean kab tak ye KJo logic chalta rahega ki Ladka aur Ladki dost nahi ho sakte.

Arre nahi yaar...It was your post that was both concise & thought-provoking with all the points you made, right from Jugnu to Jasmeet's husband.

Sometimes I feel the writers get bored after a point. They think they're all set at the 10 pm time slot & that people will see whatever they show. 😐 Maybe that's why tracks are one-dimensional now, compared to the starting when there was an equal distribution of screen space ? Pata nahi...But DKP is surely wasting potential of the whole show, as you've rightly pointed out.

And yeah, I so wanted NishMish to be platonic - also wanted to see Vatsal play a normal person instead of an obsessed character again 🙈 It would have been something different to show on ITV. And kaala jaadu and KJo logic 😂😂😂 so true 💯

Even if Nishant did supposedly "fall in love" for the sake of drama, they could have then made him realize that it was his friendship & protective instinct towards mishti that made him assume wrongly that abir was wrong for her. Also made him realize that the marriage was neither right for him nor for mishti, as he never fell in love with her but just wanted to defeat abir ( his repeated "abir mujhse jeet nahi sakta" 😁 )

Instead, he now has a sudden flip and confesses that he left abir to die & no one is even upset that he did so / his anxiety issues made him do so! 😅 They are making a joke out of something as big as marriage. Nishant & the entire maheshwari family need to realize that the NishMish marriage announcement was not the solution to their issues at that point.

and yeah mishti has redeemed herself by realizing & taking a stand finally. What i like about her is that she realizes when she goes wrong & rectifies her mistake, without being afraid of "what will others think". She also takes decisions herself (at least tries to).

Wish makers gave a bit of this sort of space to other characters as well!

That was the only Kunal-Ketu focused scene I guess. It was indeed very touching!

And Kunal was so protective of Ketki in beating Ved up and the group cousins' hug with Ketu dressed as a bride! 😃

i really wish ye DKP concentrate on all characters which they introduced beautifully... but alas.. they are just following Itv standards.. TRP ke bhuke... I want to see progres in all characters... it is getting bored to see them same from past 10 months... no progress for further just beating around the bush...i want every relation to grow .like mishti-kunal, kuku, kunal-ketu, kunal-atul, atul-ketu, kunal-maasi and especially nanu.. he was so busy in abir's father role that he cant see how his own daughter is became... i wish nanu takes the head of family responsibility and make their home worth living for evryone...

Lagta hai ye khwaish ek khwaish hi ban ke reh jaayegi. These people don't seem to know how to move the story forward.
