Illegitimate - Kunal or Abir?

I have long had this doubt but it was something Parul said to Kunal today that has made me come out of the woodwork to post here today.

Pls correct me if I'm wrong

My understanding through earlier episodes is that Mehul was married to Parul. Since they were poor Mehul decided to look for job opportunities in Rajkot where he met Meenakshi Rajvansh and presumably married her and started a new family.

Since Kunal is younger to Abir, it means Mehul dodged between both his women until the s*** hit the fan and he had to run from the authorities, leaving behind a pregnant Parul.

If this is indeed how it played out, then it is Abir not Kunal who is illegitimate since Parul was Mehul's lawfully wedded wife, not Meenakshi.

I have had the same confusion since the baba track!

I think the confusion created is deliberate.

It appears that Meenakshi offered support to Parul not out of the goodness of her heart but to save her own face and status in society.

Parul's silence about her married status in return for lodging and boarding for herself and he baby😂

This might play out as a future track.

Even I have had this doubt.

Infact in one of the episodes meenu parul convo meenu did say something like this....

Even I think she has fooled everyone n it's not Kunal who is illgetimate.

Actually now toh I doubt whether Abir is her biological son ..as no mother can be so evil 😔

even i ahve the same doubt about abir being illigitimate or abir is not mehul's son but only meenakshi son with some other... its only my doubt...

I have had this doubt for awhile as well. If you put everything together it looks like Parul is Mehul’s first wife and Meenakshi is the second wife. This confusion can be deliberate for future track or either writers forgot what they have showed us so far.

Wow, than abir's real baba can be some real gem !!

Initially menu said she made a mistake to run away with her love, however never mentioned ran away with M Kapadia... in that track.

So, I think ...she ran away with abir's real father, married - separated, came back with young abir - met M Kapadia - married him - parul (& kunal) walked in for help.

Can't analyze anything in iTV

Anything is possible in this cliche driven atrocious storyline that it has become now.

Am still unable to digest the fact that Nishant and Mishti are rakhi brother sister as per the parent show, their marriage is fixed and it’s going on with great pomp.

it’s way too progressive for my mindset, let me honestly admit that.
