“Life is so full of unpredictable beauty and strange surprises. Sometimes that beauty is too much for me to handle. Do you know that feeling? When something is just too beautiful? When someone says something or writes something or plays something that moves you to the point of tears, maybe even changes you.”
― Mark Oliver Everett, Things The Grandchildren Should Know
Mishbir our like a wonderful surprise in eachother's life. When they boarded that bus on that fateful day they had no idea that destiny and fate will weave them together so beautifully. For the wanderer Abir his angry chorni became his anchor who created that sudden pull that compelled him to stay in one place. Before her he felt like he had no home, no destination but over the course of time she became his solace, his safe-haven his home. For the Misthi who had constantly been subject to taunts and made to feel unwanted and unworthy her Ajeeb Rajvansh became her motivator, her sounding board, her friend that one she desperately needed to make her realize that she indeed was worthy that she was wanted and that she deserved to be loved. A long time ago Misthi used to be girl with a lot of sass and spunk until life happened and somewhere along the way her spark dimmed and gave way to her overthinking nature but when Abir waltzed into her life he made Misthi get in touch with herself again he reignited that lost spark and in his company Misthi continues to thrive.
Now let's dig in to the episode. Right from the get go Abir's one track mind makes sure that he asks Nanu to suggest his name to go against Mish. That entire scene where his fam hypes him up and he does the dhin a din dha scene was so cute also I loved the way BP and BM hyped up Misthi and asked her to win. The chemistry in the next scene though was on fire. The way Chai chai BGM starts playing and the show Mishbir walking in style and Abir's smirks and Misthi tying her dopatta and them facing each other and using their eyes to talk to each other was so beautifully executed. Both Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma were amazing in that scene they legit went toe to toe with each other in terms of their expression. That shayri though:
He called Mish the enemy whom he values and loves more than his life. How can one ever even think of making a person like that lose a person who means the world to you. Hence Abir, wishes that they both win in this fight for love because well in true love there are no losers there are only winners. Go go govinda plays and Misthi stumbles a bit while climbing and Abir immediately gets worried but they both managed to reach the top. What Misthi says at the top though was beautiful:
Abir mujhe nahi pata kab hua...Mujhe nahi pata kaise hua...par mujhe tumse pyaar hai..Tum helmet wale chor ho..Bilkul Ajeeb ho..Jaise bhi ho...mere ho.. I love you Abir
and the way he goes like but no one heard it Mish but she goes like gleefully "Par maainy toh keh diya" and then she proceeds to break the mataki and our homeboy is standing their so confused as he has just been tricked by his smart angry chorni. He can't help but admire her. Like an excited child Mish exclaims "Yay main jeet gaye" to which Abir goes like "Haar kay hi toh tumhay jeeta hain" and than the just look at each other oblivious of the evil that's lurking around the corner. Their blissful moment turns into horror as Misthi's side of the pyramid collapses and right in front of his eyes she falls to the ground. Shaheer's expression's here it feels like someone has sucked the life out of him. BP rushes to Misthi's side has already lost one daughter and now he is scared of loosing Misthi. Everything around him is white noise as Abir is only focused on her motionless form with a gash on her head. How quickly can life change in a single moment the boy is still somewhat in shock until someone asks him to pick Misthi up and he does. He hoists her in his arms and runs for dear life but as he is running he momentarily pauses and looks at her as if trying to reassure himself that she really is there safe and sound in his arms. As he looks on her sleeping form from the side of the bed Abir is mumbling to himself. He is reassuring himself that she will be fine his mask that he puts on for other people to hide his pain slips and any sane person can see the depth and intensity of his pain in his eyes even BB notices. He pleads with the doctor to fix her because that girl lying on the bed is just not a girl she is his dream she is his hope of a pyara sa ghar and for the child who was abandoned she is the one who makes him feel that he is enough that he is loved even the thought of something happening to her sends a shiver down his spine. When everyone leaves he grabs her hand unable to keep his emotions in check until Nanu reprimands him. He breathes a sigh of relief when the doctor tells them that Misthi is fine but the boy is still in so much shock. As he makes his way out of the room he recites a painfully haunting shayri where he blames himself for her accident:
This boy has my heart because than he goes on to thank god for not letting things get a lot worse than they already were. I loved how the always show that Abir is so religiously sorted.
