One or my favorite Abir moments

I was watching some old episodes because I've come across YRHPK just few days ago. Though Abir is always amazing but episode 49 struck a different chord with me. It's the one where Abir meets and Kunal and Mishti at the hospital and Kunal is asking Mishti to get an eye surgery. Abir is stunned to hear this and tries to sort things out. I absolutely love how he looks at Mishti for answers during the conversion and when she starts clarifying, he says "Tum har baat ka explanation kyun de rahi ho?'. It's like he's so protective of her identity and personality that he wouldn't let her or anyone else change it for anything. Even though he's just a friend to her at this point and has no hopes of getting any further, I love how he questions her on why when was being weak and not her, even if Kunal was her husband-to-be.

Not sure what you guys think but I wanted to share this with someone.

Needless to say, Shaheer's acting is phenomenal. He emotes more with his eyes and it feels so natural.

Omg that particular eye surgery sequence has my heart. No ITV show has ever shown anything like this. Also loved the bit that you mentioned that Abir rightly points out that she doesn't need to justify her point of view to Kunal or anyone else for that matter. It's her decision period. Both Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma have been amazing in this whole show Mashallah.

Yes that was a wonderful scene and I liked the follow up scene at Mahs
