“We have to allow ourselves to be loved by the people who really love us, the people who really matter. Too much of the time, we are blinded by our own pursuits of people to love us, people that don't even matter, while all that time we waste and the people who do love us have to stand on the sidewalk and watch us beg in the streets! It's time to put an end to this. It's time for us to let ourselves be loved.”

Somewhere in all this chaos underneath her angry chorni avatar is a little girl who just wants to be accepted by her family. It’s a little girl who yearns for her family’s love. It’s a little girl who has often heard taunts about being unlucky who has always been blamed for never being enough. Never being enough to make people stay. Never being enough for her own parents to love her. Never being enough for her own grandmother to keep her. However, one day out of the blue two people shower you with love. You start calling them your Badi Maa and Baday Papa they are not your biological parents but nevertheless they are your mom and dad. They protect you from the world, the nurture you and teach you to be strong. They fulfill all your mundane wishes like getting you a doll-house they love you like you were supposed to be loved by your parents. They make you believe in the goodness of people. As time passes their love makes you strong but it also makes you vulnerable because you are afraid of losing them. You are afraid of disappointing them. You don’t ever want them to regret bringing you in to your family because you always have been called a regret. You were a regret for your parents who brought you in to this world only to toss you to the side later. You are a regret for your grand mother who is unable to raise you. You are a regret for people like Jasmeet who leave no stone unturned to remind you that you are not blood but rather you are adopted. You are a regret for your sister who resents sharing her life with you. So, you start believing that you are a regret. You desperately try to hold on to your dreams of a happy family, your save haven that you even forget that once you believed that love was bigger than family. BB has hit Mishti right where it hurts she had made her believe that she is helpless that she can’t seek help from her BP and her friend Abir. She wants her son to hate Mish but I am afraid BB doesn’t understand her son at all. Abir at this point is incapable of hating Mish. She wants Mish to expose the secret about Kuhu and her parentage so she can break BP. Everything is a mess and Misthi is so overwhelmed by all that’s going on. She has the weight of the world on her shoulders so she falls down and breaks apart. BB has such a pronounced impact on Mish that she has started invading her dreams. As Mish begs BB for mercy her subconscious berates her in the form of Abir. In all the white noise around her Abir’s voice is her anchor. Before he came she was drowning in chaos but he steers her towards the shore.“Utho Misthi Utho tumnay pyar kia hain Misthi aur pyar main ghootnay nahi takay jaatay aur pyar sir utha kar kia jaata hain .Main tumhara sar kabhi nahi juknay duh ga Mishti because I love you” He tells her not1 to bow down in front of anyone because real love does not make us a beggar rather real love makes us a warrior. She has to stand up and fight back as love should not make her weak rather it should strengthen her. It’s painfully beautiful that amid all the chaos Misthi is in she is sure of Abir’s love for her.
“Abir, Kunal nay mandap par ahnay say mana kar diya hain abb hum kia karay gay?” She voices out her worst fear to him because she knows even in her dreams that Abir won’t judge her
“Kunal ahayay ga Misthi main ussay lay ar ahaon ga” He promises that he will fix things for her he always has.
“Thank you, thank you so much” She holds his hand for dear life because right now only he offers her comfort but than she wakes up from her dream. She realizes that in reality she has to stay away from him. However, she still believes in love she thinks because Kunal loves Kuhu he won’t mind her parentage. It’s because the people who genuinely love her such as BP,BM and Abir don’t care if she is Misthi Maheswari or Mishti Aggarwal they only care about Misthi. So, she thinks that Kunal will also only care about who Kuhu is and not judge her for her parent’s actions. There is a reason she doesn’t want to tell Abir because telling him means that she has to tell him about the games his Maa is playing. A girl like Misthi who has been abandoned by her parents knows the hurt a child experiences when their parents hurt them. She can’t subject Abir to the same pain she can’t expose him to the bitter truth about his mother because the truth will hurt him immensely and she doesn’t want that. She never wants to come between a mother and a son. Also since the problem is about Kuhu she feels that Kunal is better suited to help her. On the other end Kunal has started feeling guilty. He has developed a soft corner for Kuhu and he is guilty about hurting her and his family. BB’s greatest sword is breaking under pressure. Guilt can motivate us to do great things I hope Kunal get the courage to do what’s right.BB is forcing Mish to hit rock bottom but its when we are at are lowest we realize the true worth of things. The things that really matter. Like a phoenix our Misthi will rise from the ashes and she will emerge victorious.
“Amid secrets and monsters and fire and death; amid every uncertainty; love existed. Love was real. It was the one certainty.”
― Dianna Hardy, Aftershock
The love Abir and BP have for Mish is rock solid nothing can diminish their love for her. As the opening quote states Misthi needs to allow herself to be loved and she needs to give love to the people who really deserve her love.
Stray thoughts
Abir's presence in Misthi's dream has infused hope in me. Their love story will not go astray. As Misthi once said "har love story main complications hoti hain " and I am positive that these complications will make AM stronger.
• I love how Parul has started giving it back to BB and how she asked BB to focus on the present and the future and how Kuhu is a good girl for Kunal.
• I kind of feel bad for Kuhu she is blindly in love with Kunal she is like the girl who is building sand castles in the air. The truth will break her
• BB is afraid that due to Mish Abir might leave her but it would actually be due to her own actions. The day Abir comes to know the true face of his MAA and Bhai is the day both of them will lose him.
• The story really needs to move forward now. I have had enough of the dances.
