Mishti is not at all fault here. if its someones fault its meenakshi since she knew everything earlier, and still she didnt stop you. then kunal says is your friendship so deep that you are yelling at mom for her?
then there is the voiceover about the rift between brothers and the scene shows abir and kunal in a heated discussion while meenakshi and rajshri look on stunned.

Then there is an IV with shaheer where he says that yes, there is a rift between the brothers but it will be sorted out, but the progressive thinking we are trying to put forth in the show is that women are expected to sacrifice so much and that has to change!
