Hi all!

When episodes rile me up, there are two reasons- they are genuinely stupid or they manage to highlight an issue that angers me. It was the latter today, so well done, team YRHPK.

Kunal is such an annoying person, that I don't almost don't wanna talk about him. His reaction to finding out Mishti had not gotten the surgery done was terrible. 🤢I can understand the initial reaction being anger but when Mishti spoke about what the glasses meant to her and he still did not give a damn, it showed that he completely lacks empathy. It's 'my way or the highway'- something he has undoubtedly learnt from his mother.

Also, he is very similar to Meenakshi in that he turns around a situation in which he victimises someone else to one where he is the victim. Why did he think Mishti wanted to embarrass him in front of everyone? If he so believes his decision was right, then he should have answered Mishti's question in front of everyone.

It's ironic that Meenakshi said that when we take decisions we also have to take responsibility for them when she and her son do anything but that. Parul still has a conscience and she is the only one aware of the true extent of Meenakshi's twisted manipulations, so I hope she stands up to her beloved Ben Baa soon. Meenu is beyond redemption and I don't see how she is different from Naman. The writers should not have everyone forgive her ONLY because she is Abir's mother.

Kunal also fired Kuhu in his anger and well, this man is a porcupine when angered because he does not spare anyone. I hope this serves as the beginning of a wake up call for Kuhu regarding Kunal but she was angry at Mishti for getting fired, so my expectations are low atm. Hope she sees Kunal for who he actually is and not who she has imagined him to be.

Precap- Extremely annoyed with Kunal's tears in front of Abir. This reminds me of Meenakshi's drama post the Ved revelation. Your dard is not a justification for mistreating someone else. Mishti is not Shweta so you don't get to take your anger out on her. I am not at all moved by his tears.

firstly, thank you for this post!!! Kunal was just the younger version of his mother today - saying some things in words and completely other things via actions.

Seeing Meenu and Kunal I get reminded of Geets dialogue "mein apni favorite hun" clearly these two have taken this way too seriously that they can't see anyone beyond them. :)

Also it's proven that he just doesn't care about enough about Mishti - so what is he crying to Abir about?? Ladkon Ko bhi Bura lagta hai? About what? That she didn't "listen" to you? That she had an opinion? Though I have a feeling that they didn't show the context of the kunal-abir convo and Kunal was actually referring to Shweta than Mishti. But let's see maybe I am giving the writers and Kunal too much credit. :)

He does have the authority issues as in not he does not abide by authority like a petulant child but more like someone challenging his. LOL Meenu is dramatic and more evil and it looked like planning the video call from the temple . how come galti se call lagta hai itni door se ki aapka full frame dikhe?🤣😆

Yes you appropriately said he victimises himself and i keep wondering what really happened with his previous relationship. He is more similar in that way to Meenu because they do take care of financial issues that they always do the right thing which is still a common problem in many families. Doesn't help either as Abir flees every time he cannot cope with the situation.

I will reiterate again he might have said yes for this relationship but Meenu was right he is nowhere ready. He needs to evaluate what went wrong with his previous one.Seeing the episode made me realize it was Meenu who broke their relationship somehow.

No wonder Kunal is still dealing with it but not in correct way.

Dont even get me started with Meenu's mai mishti ko todungi. Doesn't she have a business to run?

How can they show both meenu and meenu ka munna i such negative light. How does family tolerate them. How will they redeem themselves. Mishthi ka mazaak n all... Why is she sooo hell bent on making her life miserable. So much ego. So much control freak. Do such people really exist. Really i am hating both of them now

This part got me annoyed! I mean what was the point of getting Kuhu to work with Kunal a week back? This very incident makes us, as audiences, deem Kunal even more unsuitable for Kuhu. Infact, we, as audiences had started to like Kuhu for taking the rejection bravely. However, if she still continues to like Kunal inspite of witnessing him being an a**hole, it wouldn't be long enough for us to start disliking the character of Kuhu as well.
