Quite the opposite. The glasses mean, in my view, what you posted in your Original Post. Its the hippocracy in the writing that I am commenting on. Why is the guy who loves the girl as she is, not imagining her in the same way? May be her glasses broke during the dream and so he brought her a new one 😃
