Hello all,

I started watching this show very recently and I love it. There is a lot of freshness, in terms to story and characters. There are some negatives too, but let the positive ones take over. :)

Coming to the topic, I have seen a lot of disagreement on Mishti's behavior from the last couple of episodes. May I play the devils advocate and say that this is what makes her character more realistic? Kunal coming back to save her from fire is a very very big deal for her because it completely changes her perspective of him, and that he can be there for her when she needs her because till now, she has not seen that side of him. For her, she has seen both Abir and Kunal come back for her even though Abir was the one in anguish about her being in fire and he came to her first. We as a viewer are privy to a lot of information that she isn't. She doesn't even know the half of what Abir does for her. And taking friends for granted for partners especially in the initial days is what is normal, we all do. This is what I believe she is doing. She knows that she is going to get married to Kunal, thats the reason her thoughts are about him because she has to spend the rest of her life with him. We know what Abir is going thru, the pain - but she is oblivious to it. For her, he is just a friend. She herself might be in denial about her feelings for Abir because not for once in the fire she tried to call Kunal, she was worried about Abir not having a phone for himself! Its going to be a slow realization for Mishti. We know Abir and we love him and we cant see him in pain, I agree, but Mishti is not completely wrong either because she is just thinking about the person, who according to her will be spending the rest of the life with her (but we know better ;)).

Loved ur post.👍🏼

Actually I gave a benefit of doubt to Mishti after friday's episode. We all know that she is a very practical girl. She knows that as a friend Abir will always be there for her.But she is in a courtship with Kunal. She wanted to know as a partner Kunal will be there for her or not and she got her answer. Kunal came back to rescue her, unlike her father who left her.

But what to do? we all are crazy Shaheer's fans.😆can't see him in somuch pain. He is just too good in emotional scenes, hum sab bhi emotional hojaate hei.😃

Jokes apart....it would be interesting to see Mishti's realization for Abir.

Great post.

While I can agree with you on most things what was the most jarring was Mishti not saying a thank u to Abir for what he did.. or mentioning it at least.

That seemed it look like she completely overlooked what he did for her,and that made everyone pissed off

I do agree that she is being practical, and because she is expected to marry Kunal, him coming in for her is a big deal - but put yourself in her shoes - in a similar situation wouldn't you atleast thank your best friend when you meet him after the incident - ask him how he is? That was the mistake here and made the whole scenario implausible.

Yes, I agree about that. Atleast a thank you was missing. Even when today Abir was talking about his hand getting burnt, neither Kunal nor misthi prodded him about where he got hurt, like we typically see 'kaha chot lagi hai, dikhao?' type. That was a genuine miss.

Exactly!!! I was like what the hell Mishti ? The man is saying his hand got burnt and neither bothered to ask what happened - atleast Kunal knows it's from the fire why wouldn't Mishti ask him?

God knows what the creatives are thinking
