This week TRP is 1.5..so sad it is going downwards..hope after ipl and abir realization track will bring good trps.

I think TRPs of most shows has fallen. And the show had filler episodes last week (even I personally found some of it annoying). I think we will get the real picture once IPL ends and they kickstart with the story from next week. I hope the TRPs are stable enough for the show to run for a year. I can't follow any show beyond that anyway 😆

If it's 1.5 then it's red flag, it replaced hugely successful ishqbaaz and spin off longest running so expectations is same level. It opened with bang but failed to sustain in top 5. It's time for makers to work hard and pace the story to fall everything in place.

Good trp doesn’t equate to good story or quality serial . The show topping the chart are the best example of this but to survive on star plus TRp is very important. 1.5 is too low hope it will bounce back

If they can’t get audience hooked onto the show within first few weeks then I don’t think they can attract new set of viewers at later stage . Extremely disappointed to see this low TRP ..it’s decreasing every week

I thought ishqbaaz always had less trps less than 1.5 .I know it was popular among SNs

Ishaqbaaz did well on TRP, it was removed/ made changes like leap etc when it went down in TRP chart. Gul clearly told in her interview, serial needs 1.6 to be in air, it didn't get that number so made leap, changed complete actors, she did everything to save but it failed to get 1.6 so plugged off. SP doesn't not show any mercy on numbers.

Exactly. Good TRP doesn't mean good story. I know some friends who regularly watch KKB, when I asked never ending loop story, they just switch on these serial at that time as its their habits and they least bother for anything.

Serial need TRP to be in air, if story is good then everyone will enjoy irrespective of TRP viewers. I don't know if I contribute in TRP as don't have any extra device.

Yes i second this, Gul khan in her interviews said for established TV stars 1.6 is the break even rating scale. Then same was repeated by another PH when fans were calling them

Shaheer won't come dirt cheap and the others have their rates. SP has taken off Mariam Khan, Kangini very fast even when the actors were relatively new. And this replaced IB which was successful for 2 years.

It is easy to switch off and see a new show rather than go back to an old one where there is absolutely no interest.

IPL cannot be blamed it comes every year

Moreover if Shaheer's international assignments forces the director to use duplicates for important scenes where those 2 to 3 mins look like patch work, TV viewers may switch off

Yday it did look bad on TV, especially when Mishti comes with Kuhu and only back profile was seen. He spoke about her father, this needs everyone to be under one frame. But it looked like each one was talking in space idk maybe the scenes were shot separately, it did not blend.

Agree with you. This made me to remember KUCH RANG days, I literally felt actors were talking to walls, people complained as well and Erica wrote a letter to defend Shaheer at that time. I haven't investment much in this serial. However, two serials IPK season 1 and KRPAB where I used to watch them in repeat mode. ASR and Dev Dixit were magnet for me and both characters were tremendous screen presence. It looks everything happens once in ITV world.

Channel/PH need to pay actors irrespective of IPL or not. It's all business, they need ROI, if not getting then they try something else. SP came with some good content series as well, it did not fare well on TRP, they just plugged off. At least Sony is good in this case, it takes on people feedback into account.
