All i know is that the viewership of Anupama is different. The same people that watch Anupama are most likely the same people who watch KDB. So the channel perhaps thought that the viewership would be divided. Then the RA fans and Kaveri-Ritwik jodi fans most likely do not watch the show anymore. So that is a chunk of the audience gone. I do not know how many fans Avinash has and if there are fans of the Kaveri-Avinash jodi.

I personally did not like the murder mystery, PTSD track, However, there are many here who watched it. However there have been good episodes for the last 1.5 weeks but once the audience is lost it is hard to bring them back.

Oh well...like i said none of us can change anything..

The thing is KKB is an established show at that slot. Beating it is not going to be easy. But such stagnantly low TRPs are alarming. At least some improvement should be there over the weeks.

Why are they counting the TRPs of old serial reruns? 😲 When did they start doing that? How can unaired episodes of a new show be compared to already aired serials?

In the current situation of fiscal insecurity SP will hold on to established shows in prime time slots.

Producers has to pay to channel for slot, According to agreement between channel and PH, the ad money will be distributed. Even Jitendra told Ek was in loss when her serial was not doing well on DD during initial stage of career then picked up.Yes old running serial trp matters, every rating matters, rerun, weekend etc all contributes to over all channel revenues,it contributes star network including disney revenues.When star was loss due to IPL, this was reflected in disney balance sheet.. For channel its loss/profit..not old or new contents. Its veiws what they get, from which they get revenues and run business..Thats reason sp/colors ran the dd ramayan/mb on their channels after huge re run success... They opened up channels like star utsav/anmol etc for rerun.. They are doing better now.

We will come to know shorly destination of all three serials kzk, jinn and this, may be next 2 to 3 months..

Only way to survive is to get TRP but sony exectional in this and SP ruthless..

I just checked, TRPs of reruns are listed separately from TRPs of current shows.

Reruns of old popular shows cannot be compared to new shows. Nostalgia always beats novelty!

it does matter for channel to stay in competitions/popularity. DD was no where but was top until ramayana/MB runs.its utmost important how many people are they reaching as ad companies intersted only on that..reachability..no of views and duration. If old rerun are giving what was expected but not new one that should be concern.

Kapil, Tarek, kundali picked up well.

For sony, its ok if Trps are 1 or less than 1 for fiction, they run for 1 or 1.5 years but not SP that too prime timing.

Well I think SP might change slots again and move Anupama back to where it should have been; I think the show that can give KDB tough competition is Anupama; and YRHPK can move to its original time slot at 10pm. Or SP might move YRHPK to a different time slot.

I agree-- SP moved Kulfi around a lot...

Focus on dat. Scrap dis unnecessary ka surrogacy. Instead of dat I would love d drama of meenu having problem dat mishti cannot conceive better trp track. !!!

Yeah its really good the rating increased with out any promotion that too in the very competitive slot..so people love positivity hope they scrape this surrogacy track..def they will loose loyal fans too if they introduce it

Re run at 8:30 got good rating 1.7 in SU..I hope makers will analyse it
