Did I ever mention Ruhi is Maira’s mother?? I said she gave birth to her and that’s a fact which everyone has conveniently forgotten. I just said that since Ruhi’s topic was raised today it would’ve been better had Ab also stated that Ruhi went out her way to bring pookie to us and you stole.Originally posted by: missFiesty_69
Ik this is fiction and stuff, on top of that a crappy show, but sis, why should anyone acknowledge Ruhi brought Maira into this word? Abhira is her mother. Surrogates are just that, surrogates no matter their intention. Yes, Ruhi did face a lot of difficulties while having Maira but that does not mean she is automatically Maira's mother.
I'll accept that Abhira is not exactly a contender for best mother of the year, but good or bad, she *is* Maira's mother. Saying otherwise means we are highlighting her inability to give birth to a child which is just cruel.
Do you think every woman who has had a child using surrogate should feel obligated to the surrogate life long !? (They can be grateful but it is not necessary for them to be obligated.) That's the same for women having a child using IVF.
And Ruhi isn’t any random surrogate, she’s Ab’s sister who faced so many difficulties from the loss of her husband to a psycho Ar’s obsession yet gave Abheekmaan their kid. So yes, if a family member does so much then there’s nothing wrong in feeling obligated and remembering their favour for life. But here Ar didn’t even bother to thank Ru and both haven’t thought about her in 7 years.
Wrt to the dialogue, it was something Ab had herself said. She promised during godhbarai (if I’m not wrong), to reveal to pookie that her maasi brought her to this world and she has two mothers. Obv she didn’t keep this promise so what’s wrong in calling it out
