Maira will want to unite her parents, also abhimaan are not divorced. In previous generation, the lead couple had already divorced and since the time Abhir was born, he already had a father, and a very good one so he wasn't interested in uniting his biological parents . Later when Abhinav died, Abhir was hell bent on uniting Abhi and Akshara because he wanted a father and if AbhiM had not died, obviously AK would have married him.

Also, Rishi mandial is an AbhiMaan fan, he would want them to get back together.
