it's not realisation I felt somehow it's self victim. Mode u r enjoying the family bigg lawyer post u left me not holding kid holding that family karke. His piles pain started long ago as he wanted maa baap both not letting her to be mother. Kuch bhi ho she can't conceive her sister gave this kid to her thinking pain as mother and fulfill dead hubby wishes for his brother to have family. What did he do. He didn't respect both women nor motherhood. What did he feed kid? His breast milk or bottle milk then that Abheera can do. If he didn't get kid in hand somehow got orphan kid adopted as own we can think but nahi. He snatched kid as his own from tummy heart beat time. I know ITV in general is worst and their stories and characters run only on TRP’s but feel Rishta has crossed that limit many times. This is the first big time jump they have taken in the show and it’s been written and executed so badly like every character flipped through IPL tenure 
As you said, they don’t even have a base plot ready for the leap, promos kept changing, leap timeline changed from 6 to 7 yrs everything looks so forced, rushed, unplanned and doesn’t makes sense anymore! What ever they are showing now just feels like a badly written fan fiction to me
I will watch the show till Armaan is there although can’t connect with him in the present track but will enjoy Rohit’s performance along with his onscreen chemistry with Urwa. I did like and enjoy AbhiMaan as a couple till some point and so for me their story ended there
