People talking of Armaan-Ruhi history should also remember Ruhi and Abhira share an even more complicated history …Ruhi hated Abhira’s mother for causing Arohi’s death ..that hatred was literally the cornerstone of her personality…from what I’ve read she was always a bit insecure as a kid but with her mother’s death and her Poppy leaving her and choosing his own son over her, her abandonment issues began ..,and she decided that Akshara was the root cause …like Akshara forced Poppy to accompany her at gun point …the man could have allowed his love for his foster child to prevail over what he felt for his biological child or the child’s mother …after all paalnewala janamdenewala se bada hota hai …anyway the. bottomline is Ruhi’s hatred for Akshara got transferred to Abhira on knowing she was her daughter ..bad enough she grabbed Armaan from her, she was also the daughter of the evil woman who snatched away her Poppy from her and caused her mother’s death as well …isn’t this history far more important than any two minutes or two weeks love affair …Ruhi’s latent anger and hatred can surface at any point and she may want to deny Abhira her child just as Akshara denied her the love of her mother and her Poppy …,why is the show conveniently silent on this …?

Because they don't want to go in detail to what happened in last gen. unlike the fans the makers do know how to move tf on So they're trying to focus on what happened and what she did in the current gen
