Akshara sharma used to keep collection of lipsticks which was not of much importance other than to paint her face, but she forced her son to wear torn shoes rather than the new shoes which were gifted to him by his father abhimanyu.
For her own self she was fine with having a collection of lipsticks , kajal but was inconsiderate towards her son's basic dignity and didn't allow him to have descent shoes. Total chudail.
Wearing torn shoes is considered bad in our culture. Even a very poor person will try to get a decent pair of shoes.
