Armaan's freedom was worth the wait. Every single dialogue reflected the struggle of a little boy who tried to fill the void in his life, who always carried the burden, only to be loved unconditionally. It was hard-hitting, emotional and connectable because of Rohit's portrayal.
Armaan Poddar wasn't a Poddar anymore, he was only Shivani's Armaan. The pain and devastation in Armaan's voice his emotional turmoil, transitioned to bitterness and anguish, on realizing that his whole life was a lie, he was used by two women who demanded blind devotion from him, while dragging him into darkness. Armaan spoke the truth, words that needed to be said long back. He was conditioned to earn what was rightfully his. No person deserves this conditioned behaviour. No child or adult deserves to carry the burden to payback, for the love received.
Rohit was beyond perfect, not only with the pitch, tone, voice modulation, expressions, body language, he was beyond perfect with emotional connectivity, could feel Armaan's pain to extent of becoming a sobbing mess because of fictional character Armaan, no words can be enough to praise Rohit's exceptional performance.
