True tv industry, especially itv, is kinda struggling right now. Even big names like Netflix, Disney, and the film industry are taking hits—some even losing billions. People just have too many options now—more platforms, more channels—so they keep switching around.
Most people don’t really get how trp works. Like, they see Ruhi track getting low trps and start celebrating, thinking it’s the end. But in reality, a 0.1% drop means nothing to big producers like Shahi. Even if Anupama drops 1%, it's still doing stable overall.
Then on X , people start crying about how Udne Ki Aasha only gets trps because they show the leads. Half these people don’t even watch the show. They just pick random cute clips and assume stuff. Udne ki asha ,audience is totally different from rishta. It’s a whole different show—more middle-class, more realistic. Also, romance in the bedroom 24/7 doesn’t guarantee trps, lol. It’s not that simple. Uka has fights, problems, drama. The ml even almost slapped the fl once, throw her out of house twice. Them solving problems..But what makes it fun? Is The comedy! Kanwar’s hilarious in comedy, the episodes is filled with comedy..even the recent track in which they dethroned upma is full with comedy episodes.
Rishta, on the other hand, is more about full-on family drama. So yeah—every show has its own formula.
