i will not blame armaan too he is indebted to his mother who raised him even though she was not his real mother. He wants someone who priortizes his family over her family. Abhira will prioritize everyone else over his family for us vidya is criminal but for armaan she is his mother. 😂 so there are people who support their family even when the relative has done crime. I don't know about other religions but sanatan dharma neither justifies nor allows wrongdoings under any reason be it parental love , friendship, 'indebtness' and other made up reasons.

Sacrificing justice to others, other's happiness for own selfish reasons including that of familial attachment is ultimately wrong.

Offcourse everyone is attached with their family more, but that doesn't gives a free pass to become an animal and do wrong with others who aren't family.
