Disagree. He was like a flower pot in commercial films. He got centre stage until triangle existed. Then he was used to only romance during his own wedding preparations. Whole wedding functions were centred around abhira vs kaveri/vidya with ruhi playing vamp, armaan playing sidekick who appears to do only romance. Then he got some importance in infertile track only to make a joke of his rom rom ke pyar by ill treating his wife for 3 months out of maa ka pyar. Then great IR track where behna pyar took centre stage. In pregnancy track, he was shown right only to become clown by saying sorry to abhira for asking her to avoid risky pregnancy. Then the infamous bacha chori track where he became official bacha chor 2.

So many times he tightly held nairas upper arm or hand. Yanked her so hard she fell in floor. Left bruises on her arms. And it wasn't shown in romantic angle though. It was shown how kartik in anger is blind bt he never changed it and no one cared. He behaved like that in public in front of nairas family. Remember the scene where akshara dies and naira shouts tumne meri mumma ko mara hai and he says Maine nhi mara and holds her tightly. Her family was right there. Unbelievable 🤣😏

Atlst keerti got married to a guy who was respectful nice etc. naira ko mila aparichit. Odd days he's romantic. Even days he's like u are all cause of misery 🤣🤣

Their college track mumbai is great but the physically abusive way he behaved with naira i always skip those scenes.
