Yes i agree but as i said as grand parents and ppl who belongs to old era they can never replace real parents as the major draw back is age gap. As per show manish hardly might know about therapy and all

Hehe in Gen 3, the same folks were trashing them to tom tom Birla family but since the latter’s existence has been erased by the makers, they have to glorify goenkas to belittle sharma family and the poddars ( this one deserves all the brickbats, though).

In future if Abhir starts hating Abhira thinking because of her presence in Akshara's life, Ak didn't try to find him then maybe he will be accepted, praised & defended again. Knowing history of the show we can’t expect any character written with consistency at least when it comes against Abhira so better not to keep any expectations from these writers .
