See PPD (post partum depression) comes in many ways and requires a lot of support - from families & doctors alike. Situations can go worse to the point where yes, one can think of harming ones baby just so that they can stop this overwhelming feeling they get.
Taking care of a child is as frustrating as it is rewarding. You sometimes really want to shut your child's mouth coz the crying is getting to you and other times you want to murder someone for even looking at your child wrong. There is a reason why it's said that after delivering a child, a woman goes through a rebirth of sorts, coz you are never really the same after a child is born.
But yes, coming to today's situation, the problem here is not Ruhi thinking badly of a random kid. It's her wishing that Abhira's kid should never have been born coz she lost hers. It's like she wants to even the scales in some form. That is not grief. That is being a small human being who cannot let go of a fictional resentment (coz Abhira was not responsible for her Matashree's demise, no matter what people convince me of) and instead wants to wish that a baby never existed just coz she feels she lost hers. It that mentality of if I am not happy, how dare she be happy - that is not PPD, that is being a horrible person. (Also this was when the baby was not where bear her and wasn't even crying, for her to be triggered and say such nonsense)
