Upma was also cursed because she was infertile? Did baa fought over food with her?

Baa would always taunt over petty things like touching her feet, her maayka, being a bad bahu and patni. She was cursed for being badchalan and remarrying. Upma was never infertile but was impregnated by deceit as Vanraj manipulated her into having Pakhi upon Baa’s orders.

I haven't watch upma that's why maybe I feel yrkkh characters are far worst, that also its been one year only. What will they do if Abhira ends up being the unintentional cause of someone's death? Vidya will not simply taunt, ridicule or throw her out. She might want to kill her by her bare hands.

See, I prefer Ruhi over Abhira and I would always like Ruhi over Abhira because I have liked Ruhi since previous generation and with Abhira I could never connect. It is not about the actor because Sam's character Saavi from her previous show is still one of my favorites.

I think it is because to make Saavi look good and nice, the makers did not have to make a good character turn bad. The villain in that show, Saavi's sister was already a rude and selfish character, she was already negative.

Whereas here, the makers ruined a perfectly good character - Ruhi - to let Abhira shine while they turned Abhira into just another submissive daughter-in-law is something that makes me hate Abhira.

Had it been the Abhira what she was supposed to, she would have disclosed everything that Ruhi did. And frankly, I don't care what Ruhi does now because the makers once again made her character to be negative so she is doing what a negative character is meant to. No complaints there.

But Abhirasmiley36 She has lost it.

The villains are doing their job, the problem lies in the female lead who is letting them do so.

@bold Completely agree. She is letting them taunt, ridicule & abuse her. The one silently suffers oppression is more wrong than the one who commits it.

And for Armaan Some mistakes are irreversible.when destiny give you something valuable, learn to cherish it.He ran after conditional love leaving his unconditional love to be suffer alone.Mental scars are difficult to be cure than physical scars.

For Ruhi and Vidya, what should I say?Their real place is in some cell of central jail.what they are doing is domestic abuse.Dear Goenkas, you successfully raised a criminal .They have to answer aarohi when they meet her after death. What I understood from post leap aarohi that she never wanted her to become like preleap version of her.its worse than that I think.

@bold yeah she is having depression. There is no explanation of the sudden switch from bol bachan Abhira to mute Abhira.

@red This is not the first time all children raised by Goenka's were either criminals or they were disloyal to their partners

Keerti disloyal, Mansi criminal, Luv-Kush criminals, Akhil disloyal, Samarth criminal, Arohi criminal, Akshara criminal? (uncertain till her case is resolved), Ruhi psychopath till now she is not a criminal but maybe in future. Abhira will also be termed a criminal in near future (still she isn't too delusional & self-righteous as she wasn't raised by Goenkas).

Not Abhira.if she turns criminal in future,we can't put it in Goenka's account.Goenkas abhira ki apne kabhi nahi hosakthe.ache baat ke liye credit nahi tho bure baat ke liye bhi nahi .She is rejected and ignored by them for Ruhi. Her parnanu is in statue mode when she gets insulted by others.

Is it even surprising that she is accepting all the abuse, she has been conditioned to it. If you look at it from a psychological perspective, it comes from the feeling of neediness and feelings of worthlessness. She has been craving for a family since childhood and she has been constantly made to feel worthless by this family. It’s not even surprising that she feels she needs to have this child for Armaan, who himself indirectly blamed her for her inability to have a child and causing rift between him and his mother. For her to even think rationally think about her health, she needs to have an emotionally strong and mostly emotionally available partner, which she doesn’t have. Let’s say she tells Armaan about her pregnancy and its complications, what’s going to happen. Yes, Armaan is going to choose Abhira over the child, yes. It’s also undeniable that he is going to be emotionally unavailable to her after that to support her in her loss with a high chance of making her worthless and guilty again, which eventually would lead to the same outcome, wanting to give up her life.

For a person to even know they are being abused, they need to at least have someone to identify it or point it out to them. This is why Abhira and Armaan both are so mismatched to be partners. Abhira who has been yearning her whole life for a family isn’t going to make Armaan realize they both are enough for each other. Armaan who has been conditioned to accept his family’s behavior is never going to fully recognize how vile his family is to support Abhira. Armaan who himself is a lawyer, intelligent and successful in his career, yet is unable to even recognize that what he has is a dysfunctional relationship with his family or overcome the dependency he feels with this family. At this point in time, Abhira is just a mirror reflection of Armaan, who himself has been conditioned to accept abuse all his life.

KP is the only consistent character in this show, for her it’s always the firm and fake family image. She will keep shifting her alliance based on who she feels qualifies for the job. Tomorrow if she feels Kaajal is the right person to do it, she will start supporting her.
