Armaan is also in umeed of getting his family's love that's why he is still there after so much. He could easily take Ab out with him, leave poddar firm but he still has that umeed.

I am hoping since this gen started to see Ar realising reality of his pyaare dadisa and parents and leaving them to find peace.

But why - he is also part of the family, just like Rohit. It's time he stands up for himself and his self-respect. If he couldn't get his family's love in the past 30 years...one would move on...

Bold: That i think is one of the plot points atm. Ruhi Rohit will get fancy dates, family support, big celebrations, but will not really be able to stay happy together. While Armaan Abhira will have hundred troubles and arguments, but still find moments to enjoy with each other.
