I thought they won't stress on sanjay trying to finalize the divorce so that it will come as a surprise when madhav reveals about the pending divorce, sanjay will pull out the new documents & say the shaadi can proceed as he got the original papers where divorce is granted.

Yes exactly, it's really high time now that Armaan should take a stand and abide by his words/actions for his own sake first, then for his father because he is the only one who really cares for Armaan, then his biological mother. Don't make Armaan-Abhira a pair, bcoz neither Armaan nor Poddar deserve a person like Abhira in their life and house (madhouse). If the elders of the family cannot see the needs of their kids, where their happiness lies, forced to marry them with a person who just says 'yes ma'am' then, dude you (elder) gonna get cowardly kids (like Rohit, Armaan, Charu). Forced marriage only spoils your lineage and you are the only one responsible for that. If a pair is not happy and does not appreciate having each other, then how can they produce a normal, good kid? The environment of the house as well as equation of parents matters while raising a child.
