Today Armaan told dadisa that the Poddar family has a habit of pretending to be happy in front of the world, instead of talking about issues. Armaan has the same problem. He avoids difficult conversations and confrontations, till pushed to the brink. He kept telling himself that his relationship with Ruhi has no future, but never bothered to draw boundaries. He found it easier to tell Ruhi to ahead with the marriage to Rohit to avoid disappointing his family, instead of thinking about the bigger picture where his brother would get stuck in a loveless marriage.

Armaan's character growth needs to be beyond his realization of love, he also has to needs to have difficult conversations. Today was a step towards that, helped by liquid courage.

You are right from the perspective of a sensible person who in all good sense would think of the larger picture.. But we are talking about Ruhi here. We may joke about it, but she is surely delusional when it suits her. She was delusional when she thought it was okay to marry a brother to be close to the other and right now this situation is something she has lived the last 9 months in the hope of, so she is delusional max in wanting for this dream of hers to be fulfilled. In some ways, if breaking Abhira is KP's zidd, achieving Armaan is Ruhi's. Armaan though largely remains the same guy he was, minus who his heart loves. He realises things too late, and when he does too, he needs to evaluate whose emotion is more important first. He was guilty of pushing Ruhi to give up on him in the past, and from where he stands, he is going to have to ask the same of her now and in a much worse situation if its going to be at the altar. In some twisted way, if Ruhi refuses, and he has to evaluate whose emotion is more important this time - Abhira's who anyway thinks he will never love her and will eventually move on? Or Ruhi's - who has been deserted by him before only to lead a life of a widow and is now going to be deserted at the altar?

Also, sure he said whatever he did to KP, but is he going to want to bring Abhira back into this house where everyone hates her? Is he going to leave the house to pursue Abhira because he loves her? He is intoxicated now but once sober, I don't see him wanting to get Abhira dragged into his world of sorrow like he articulated today, especially after he heard KP spew all that venom. I think he'll just want to punish himself for all his deeds, including what he thinks he did wrong with Ruhi and just accepting to marry her. And keep wishing the best for Abhira wherever she is.

My understanding is the baraat crossing paths with the bus is just to squeeze some more DDP out of Abhira ..secondly, having made Mata’s laal chunari fall on Abhira, they are definitely not going ahead with the wedding ..thirdly, based on Garvita’s IG story, Ruhi will most likely back off at some point

That Bhaarat and bus will go in parallel ways and may divert into opposite directions...To show that both are going in opposite direction kya Armaan aur abhira aage mil payega ya phir yahi tak unka safar......
