Goenkas were also criminals. MG and AG bribed Kashyp to take blame for Akshara's death (hit and run case) to save Mansi. Puru mama molested Mansi for years as a minor whereas KD turned blind eye to her brother's wrongdoings and pressured Mansi to keep quiet. KD stole shank whereas Kartik stole Keerti's baby. Luv Kush molested Trisha with their friend & entire Goenka parivar including Kartik was against Naira for calling police on them. Kartik was no different from his family though he wasn't spineless like Armaan and stood firm most of the time against his family.
Here Sanjay is Bansal not Poddar and he is an antagonist who isn't supported even by spineless Armaan. Like hypocrite Goenkas who worshipped Adiya Bansal their damad till his domestic violence was exposed by Naira girgit Poddars also worship their SIL Sanjay Bansal who is a criminal. Walking away from Poddars and Armaan is most reasonable but does ITV works on reasonable? After deal truth and Abhimaan's remarriage Abhira will magically become Vidya's daughter again.
