Funny that the only time Armaan felt something for himself, without the burden of gratitude or debt or family, was when he got into spats with Abhira right at the beginning …even while he seemingly chose Ruhi, the first lines she spoke clearly indicated why he did that ..it was her love for family that he thought mirrored his and made him believe that she would be the perfect fit into his family ..that she was easy on the eye was an added benefit and of course, when she reciprocated his sentiments, he felt good for himself …with Abhira, it was Akshara’s plea and his debt to her for having saved her life that made him decide to marry her and take on her responsibility ..the man is so low on self-esteem that he doesn’t even think he has a right over his own life or happiness ..he makes everything about his family ..this is even worse than an ITV FL’s fate because they do retaliate at some point or the other ..this man’s vocal chords are in the grip of DS..I don’t know if he will ever find a voice ..or if he will speak his own words ..right now everything is scripted by DS or Vidya…and he won’t hear a word to the contrary since he believes that he has to repay them for the hurt caused by his father and his biological mother …to repay them for accepting him despite his being a symbol of that defiance and betrayal …

the way things are going, Abhira will surely be crowned in glory sooner or later being the FL..but I doubt there will ever be a track where a crack develops in the wall of gratitude he has closeted himself within and Armaan will walk away from it all …maybe he won’t ..because this show has made him irrelevant pretty much ..!

That’s extremely sad because this is the first show you don’t feel anything for the ML .. he is actually a bojh for the FL ..starplus has done a great disservice to its prime time shows by making ML an object of apathy .. you don’t feel anything for ishan or armaan .. not sure about Anirudh ( he clearly is in love with FL) but does not want to hamper her udaan he feels she is destined for greater glories .

earlier just after Covid they had 3 heroes.. or anti heroes .. all of them had powerful roles .. vanraj , virat and Aditya . Audience felt positive or negative according to their behaviour because all 3 had a voice .. they were not puppets of destiny .. it was always a Ml vs FL story then .stories before Covid were a different gen
