To be honest Ruhi is dumb but she is not manipulative. If you have not watched please watch her mother to know how manipulative her mother was. If I compare Ruhi to her mother Ruhi has not even shown 0.1% of her traits. I am not a legacy fan nor her mother's fan. You can ask anyone here about how much problems I had with her until leap. But post leap she was turned into a sane character but when I compare her and Ruhi, Ruhi looks decent and sane. Ruhi makes her appear better tbh. Her mother even after being a negative lead like Ruhi was a far better character because she didn't weave a web of lies like Ruhi to get close to her ex-lover. She wasn't obsessed with a man. She was always upfront and clear about her intentions, got humiliated & called out for her wrongdoings. She never tried to be oh-so-nice & bachari or never tried to stay in the good books of a family in her obsession for a man. I never thought I would ever defend what her character used to be before leap

How? Armaan ruhi still single. They aren't married or engaged. Abhira is unmarried.. she just got divorced from him like1 day ago. They stayed husband and wife for like almost one year and not just for 2 days..so feelings cannot be forgotten so easily. Another thing,Abhira only dreaming how her life could've been. She's not acting on it. She's not begging armaan to take her back or leave ruhi.. She's not marrying krish to stay close to armaan.. She's not going around harassing armaan for choosing his family

actually the more morally incorrrect person is Armaan who can listen anything his family say for the akshara his teacher who saved his life , plus he is so spineless to shut abhira from defending her dead mother's character. He so disgusting that give promice to marry his younger brothers wife who considred as daughter in indian culture.

Same applies with Roohi’s Nani Sirat. Even she seems like a saint in front of her nikami Naatin. No matter how much I troll her I can’t deny that she was a genuinely kind and pure hearted person. She was never obsessed with Kartik Goenka nor did she ever take advantage of having the same face of Naira. She was career oriented and priotised her dreams and ambitions first. She was also a great mother to her step kids. Wow never thought I’d defend this character as well

But yes, it's true. I don't like Sirat but can't deny she was a good person and a good mom to her stepchildren and mostly never differentiated between her own blood Aaru and kairav, Akshu.

@bold You can also rewatch Ruhi lied to Vidya that she and Armaan sacrificed their love for Rohit. Ruhi didn't sacrifice her love as her only reason/intention for getting married to Rohit was to stay close to Armaan. How's that a sacrifice? Only Armaan sacrificed his love as he cleared to Ruhi that she is now his brother's wife. Ruhi even told Vidya she and Armaan didn't cross any limit whereas she did by hugging Armaan in that secluded place when he was Abhira's husband. She kept gangour fast for Armaan stole Abhira's dupatta. Loving an immoral character like Ruhi is fine without affirmation that she is better than the previous negative lead.
