i found Anita Raj' statement very basic. She is not going into the intricacies of why her character behaves in the way it does. Why she behaves so petty and controlling. I understand she is conservative and conformist. Why not let a daughter in law of the house eat at the table but make her cook breakfast and serve it on table. Never call her name and always use aye ladki. Given her petty behavior why feel betrayed when Abhira take up a case against her. She is willing to throw out a 22 year girl who has none in city at midnight. Why should same girl implicitly give her benefit of doubt when a set of damning evidences presented to her? Also as of now DS is not aware of the relationship between Jimmedaru and Bhabhi. She is arranging the rishta by asking if they want to marry and given her control freak nature, she wasn't happy when Armaan asked for time.

So i still think that Rohit didn't sacrifice. Sacrifice would be if he would be in love and he would let go of his love for a higher cause. But here he was married and marriage is not some child's play

Mere bhai say meri biwi pyaar karti hai toh main chala jaaonga without saying anything. Toh kya hoga is mera bhai apni biwi ko divorce karke Shaadi kar hee lega ussay. Even in paper it sounds disgusting. He knew another innocent life would be affected still he chose to go away.

He just wanted to repay for his brother's so called kindness. His decision was erroneous cos he left his duties towards his parents and his work to unite negative and selfish people without thinking about how many lives will be affected by his rash decision. This is fiction so the fl will spring back but in real life people go into depression or have a nervous breakdown after so much suffering.

But I respect your views. To each his own.

Agree. Garvita is young and doesn't want to get labeled as vamp, can be limiting to career. But Anita Raj is senior actor, very experienced and should take her craft more seriously. That's why the expectation to have a more nuanced introspection.

but Kaveri ka POV mujhe nahi samajh mein aaraha

She seems to care about izzat of parivaar a whole lot so how is she unaffected by

1. Divorce of ghar ka bada beta

2. Jeth bhabhi rishta

because given how conservative she is, makes sense for her to force Abhira Armaan to make deal shaadi real even though they dont love each other just because divorce nahi hota in Poddar khandaan

And she should get a kick out of wanting to make Abhira toe her line rather than kicking her out and essentially accepting defeat that a 22-23 year old girl impacted her so much

And no matter what the situation of Ruhi and Armaan both being akela now, jeth bhabhi looks cringe. 100% gossip yehi hogi ki Abhimaan divorce happened due to jeth-bhabhi ka affair

so how she is allowing it - I fail to understand.

I mean surely, Ruhi's mukhota of acchai seeing her "good bahu/bhabhi" behaviour is insufficient to accept the gossip that in Poddar house, jeth bhabhi ka affair hua jiske vajah seh divorce hogaya bade bete ka. her image is more important to her na. Is she really gonna say theres no other good bahu available except Ruhi that she has to make Ruhi Armaans wife?! or is she just lazy ki kaun ab rishta dhundhe, jo first available ladki hai- usi seh karadoh shaadi.

or is all this being done just to spite abhira. Isnt divorce enough that she needs to rub in her face that she also found a replacement biwi/bahu for her?

ML and FL have often been given dialogues to suggest that she's not cruel but just conservative, iron fisted, stern etc. she does want "bacchon ki khushi" . Even though thats not exactly true based on whatever we have seen.

But they have given scenes of "soft" Kaveri too. She hugged Abhira for saving Vidya. Acknowledged her speech mein help. Did katputli dance because Abhira said izzat ki baat hai. Has cracked a smile at her antics too.

This is in between her extreme cruelty.

So i dont think she'll ever get called out for her behavior. They'll just put random scenes to WW her.

So maybe now she’s hesitant to say many negative things against her character..that’s a possibility.. because Kaveri is a terrible character.. a tyrannical hypocritical old lady .. there’s no,other way to,describe her to,me 🤷🏻‍♀️ And garvita was a full on vamp,and negative character in her previous show..I’m not sure if her character reformed in the end..

We have examples of strict people like Murtasim mom . That lady was strict but never evil. Lets take daja ji .. or i don't remember the name but ek hazaron main serial main there was a bua or something she was strict but she got some morals. Arnav ki nani was strict too,this old heg is just pathetic 🙄
