In ghum 1 the male character was always the main character..it was always ‘ in whose love is Virat lost’ 😂that whole show was about Virat and the 2 women in his life..and the title is ghum hai kisikey pyaar mein..and ŵe though Gen 2 will be different with his daughter as the lead,.but it’s still same story of one man and two girls. But rishta is not like ghum..rishta is about relationships and in rishta the legacy heroine is the most important character..it’s always her journey and the other characters are just part of her journey and are only,in the show because if they have a connection to her..tomorrow If dkp decides to bring a new hero for abhira…Armaan and all podaars are out of the show..but they are not doing that..so Armaan will remain and the writers will,somehow get him and abhira back together..because in rishta. They have to show how the heroine navigates her relationships..as a wife, mother, daughter in law, sister in law , etc..that’s the whole premise of rishta.. so abhira will get back all her status at Podaar house.. this is her story..Ruhi is just a sidey vamp who is used to create drama in the heroines life…and once Ruhis role of creating trouble is over..she’ll be shoved to the back..they did the same with her mom last Gen.

I agree.but right now I think trps are more important than said theme of show..

And sadly gen 4 promo also depicted all 3 in entangled relation so no different than prev....

I watched yesterday’s episode late last night on tv..but read the update early in the morning and participated in the discussion here and saw clips..so when I saw the episode last night..I could see it a bit differently.I actually laughed while watching the Armaan abhira confrontation scene..because ..here we have this couple who for 9 or 10 months were insisting it was a deal, marriage, abhira said like zillions of times..she’s leaving after one year..Armaan said a zillion times that abhira is just his zimmedari. And they both spoke about divorce..but after it happened..they are devastated..both are totally broken.. the pain in both their eyes was not fake.,it was from deep hurt that their relationship is over. They were a couple who could not let their relationship go..Abhira has acknowledged her feelings to herself that she loves Armaan but she’s letting go as he doesn’t love her. Armaan thinks that abhira doesn’t want to be married to him anymore. But he’s not analysing his feelings. He’s not putting love and abhira in the same sentence because he’s been programmed to put zimmedari and abhira in one sentence. But it’s obvious that he’s fallen in love with her..so in a round about way..the writers will eventually make him realise this.and they’ll unite him with abhira. Podaars and Ruhi are irrelevant..he didn’t consult them when he married abhira..so even when he decides to remarry abhira he’ll probably not tell them..maybe this couple are always meant to,elope and have runaway weddings 🤷🏻‍♀️😂
