How will a member who may have been active in other forums will be able to show their badge for multiple characters from various shows.

This team feature is in all forums. The idea is that you can show in a specific forum which "team" you are on. Others don't need to know outside that forum, so it doesn't show up. For example, let's suppose you are a Rajasthan Royals fan in IPL and an Abhimanyu fan in YRKKH. Outside YRKKH most people don't care whether you are an Abhimanyu fan or an Abhinav fan. So the idea is that inside the YRKKH forum you'll show up as an Abhimanyu fan but if you post in the IPL forum you'll show up as a Rajasthan Royals fan.

These teams are not compulsory and not every forum will have them activated though all forums have this feature. It really depends on how active the forum is and whether it will add anything to that forum.

Another forum we'll probably add teams to is the Bollywood Forum though we'll have to think through how we put it there since there is a limited number of teams we can add.

This is why team badges are optional. You never have to use them if you don't want to. Additionally if people don't like the current team names, we can explore other options. Like maybe just Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3, Gen 4 generic badges or couple names only.

We have a limited number of teams we can use so for the timebeing we stuck to the main leads of each generation and overarching ones for the main families.
