Guys, can anyone tell me why Armaan was so tensed to meet Manav?
I thought Vidya could have told him something that's why he didn't want to go
But nothing happened today, so he didn't want to go because of his past with Ruhi??????? stilllll??? it shouldn't have mattered to him now??? Couldn't ask it in the EDT, Ar bashing already started there
He let his brother married to Ruhi, now. the random guy wanted to marry her, after having Abhira in his life, why he ws so bothered?
You will get us a warning here???
But I will try to state my point avoiding using other irrelevant character's name (...I mean irrelevant as per this AT🫢)
So let's be clear that : It's a well-established fact that Armaan has a past. It's also clear that he has no romantic inclination towards his past, and it's very evident that Armaan and Abhira are not romantically involved with each other, yet.
Armaan is bound by marriage, but emotionally he is free. Despite being emotionally free, he chooses to respect his marriage and relationship with Abhira, demonstrating his commitment and integrity. His interactions with his past are not driven by romantic feelings but by a sense of guilt and responsibility, which he consistently acknowledges and carries. His flashbacks speaks about it if it is in memory of romantic scenes or guilt loaded ones.
Armaan's character is depicted as one who takes on blame and guilt for various situations, even when not entirely warranted.
It's clear that Armaan is often singled out and blamed by his Ex (as well his ex's relative) for the past and present circumstances, which is unjustified. Despite both of them being involved in their past decisions, his ex tends to attribute more responsibility to Armaan, overlooking her own agency and choices. While Armaan acknowledges his role in their shared history, he should not bear the entire burden of their past. It's important for his ex to take ownership of her decisions and not use Armaan as a scapegoat for her current situation every time. This one-sided blame is too burdening.
While this ex of Armaan claims to have been completely influenced by Armaan in the past for hher marriage with Rohit, it's contradictory that she doesn't follow everything he says, especially when he has clearly stated that their relationship is in the past. He stated it time and again. She claims her life is like this because she follows everything Armaan says? No. She does it all as per her convenience. Guilt-tripping Armaan is a trend for the majority of people around him in his family, and it's nothing new for in the case here.
So, he is tensed to meet Manav because he don't want to hurt his ex who puts sole pressure on him. His ex clearly stated that she don't want to be forcefully married again yet and he agreed that no one will force her anymore because he is fed with that BS that he forced her and the life she is living is all because of him. He don't want to go because of his past that is guilt-ridden and not because of his past which boasted about love for eternity.
So, from what I see, yes it matters to him and not in the way he is bashed in general for.
Regarding your point on he has Abhira he should not be bothered...it's not a toffee that he has to himself and he should not be bothered what others have. It's relationships with living people. He has Abhira, good. He is bothered by a certain member of his family because he feels sorry for her, so ok. Let's take it that way.
Will state again, he moved on but his ex didn't. He cares for her as a family member and friend but she want something else in the name of beech ka raasta.
It's crucial to recognize that Armaan's desire to move on from his past is genuine, and he tries to handle his relationships with respect and understanding. Having said that, when he is overthinking and analyzing guilt trips, Armaan should also consider how he is often coerced into situations against his will or choices. This aspect of his introspection can empower him to assert his own desires and boundaries more effectively. Hope he is able to do that soon.
