So story might play out like this-

Abhira gets kidnapped.

Armaan comes back home with Madhav and goes to look for Abhira. She isn't back home and it's late. He waits more. Then goes to her office. Doesn't find her there. Due to his promise of not going to her college, he keeps contemplating but ultimately breaks it and goes to check there,

Then wahaan pe Ab gets shot while saving him. Poora Poddar khaandaan will be in guilt and they will all get softy with her.
