Ah, I am seeing the episodes objectively without too much thinking about the future. I can clearly see a progression with Armaan character which writers are also showing.

People might be seeing Armaan as a pendulum but in my opinion he is just torn between a family and a friend. Like someone tweeted too - Abhira was his duty and family was his love, now Abhira is turning into his love and family a duty - he is torn between the two now shows he has started to see Abhira more than a family. Like I said, we can't blame Armaan and expect him to be with Abhira all the time because there was no commitment in their relationship . We expect them to behave as husband and wife but why? They aren't husband-wife till yet. They aren't in love yet. So, here is not the case of him ditching her. He is doing what he had promised to Abhira's mom. Supported her in fulfilling her dreams and that's all we should have expected from him.

Analysis of today's episode -

Armaan getting scared to see Abhira to leave his home. I really don't know why makers are showing this third angle when all the time, it's only Abhira he thinks about. He only thinks of Roohi when someone makes him to think of her. Armaan was standing there and literally he saw a nightmare that if he reveals the truth of contract marriage - Dadi will throw Abhira out. He couldn't not fathom that at all and was literally scared - shows his deep inherent fear of Abhira leaving him. I don't know how he will react when Abhira will actually leave his house.

Armaan is over Roohi like I said - him recollecting Swarna's words are the proof that he only feels responsible towards roohi out of guilt which Roohi and probably even Abhira thinks is beyond a casual care for Roohi from his side.

Armaan pleading Abhira to eat food and then hugging her realising how lonely Abhira has been all this while. He called her subconsciously his 'saathi' which again symbolises how subconsciously he started to see her in a different way even more than a friend which he isn't realising. Abhira too felt comfortable while he hugged her and said those words to her.

Abhira questioning his relationship with Roohi is again a symbol that he really needs to re-explore his feelings for Roohi to understand whether he still loves her or not which is very important for the closure of their bond.

Roohi is now his family ( because of Rohit and his family members pushing him towards Roohi) and we always saw Armaan giving priority to his family but Abhira is just a friend - but Armaan being still torn between the two shows how he has started to see Abhira more than a family now. He even admitted in front of Abhira that he will choose her over Roohi. But his guilt and family comes into play and he ends up messing up.

This is exactly what I felt. The dream showed his fear and also how much Abhira is important for him. And yes Abhira was also comfortable with that hug.

Maybe this coming back of युवराज will make Armaan realize how important Abhira is to him and she is not just a responsibility.

I don't find her strikingly beautiful. And the excess makeup isn't helping her either. But her decent good looks seems to be the only plus point about her onscreen persona right now. I cannot even call her an average actress. She's worse than that.

If she was above average in acting like Armaan, we wouldn't have problem. Atleast the guy tries hard and is good in some scenes. But Pratiksha cannot do one scene properly.

Roohi's scenes with Armaan is still ok, but her scenes with Abhira make me cringe so hard, because Samridhi is so good an actor, infact out of all the four leads of yeh rishta, acting wise i would say Samridhi is better.

& Pratiksha just cannot act. So when Roohi & Abhira have scenes together, it looks pathetic
