I think he will be shocked at least. And will hesitate for few seconds and most probably awkward ho jayega. He was shocked and awkward when Ruhi told him she had fun planning the surprise party with him. I think almost same reaction hoga if the hug happens at all.

And I think he will maintain what he asked Ruhi today. And if Abhira really leaves Poddar house then to phirse uske pichhe Pagal hoke bhagega. But it will be better if Abhira goes mute mode and just focus on her study and duty as an inmate, not family. Just do your work, don't get in trouble and stay away from everyone and everything. Basically treating Armaan and everyone else as mere Hostel mates.

Because somehow, for Armaan, Abhira's friendship is important. He is not in love with her but she is important to him. And if she withdraws herself from him, it will make a huge difference.
