If this was a different show, and abhira wasn't related to Akshnav, i would have had no problem but I look at the female lead as baby of abhinav , his last nishani & I just want to protect her from hurt badly

It's not that Abhira will create tamasha, per say but he didn't want to

tell her cause they view each other as spouses just on paper. Abhira knows Armaan has secrets is up to him to choose to tell. Armaan seem to be feeling guilty cause there equation has now changed to friends, and he know Abhira will feel bad that he kept that information from her and he knows her whole history.

Bold - exactly that's my point.

Armaan and Abhira are different than Armaan and Roohi were.. Armaan knew he loved Roohi and was going to marry her. While with Abhira - he thinks her as a contract marriage wali wife who herself doesn't want to get connected to him because she only has one focus in life and that is - she wants to complete her mom's dreams. We are actually expecting them to behave as husband and wife when they haven't accepted each other in that form. They have only become friends and that's it - it's not even that close according to them. He thinks she will anyways go from his life after one year - toh itna kya attach hona.

My only point is until and unless they don't accept each other as husband and wife and become that close - it's difficult and complicated plus Rohit being into the picture makes it more difficult.

Plus point here is - that despite all this, Armaan at least is feeling guilty for hiding about the party from Abhira. That's one step added into their journey - he started to feel guilty now when before he didn't care about this.

Yes, i need to take it slow, and judge characters based on what is being shown at present and not what might be in future. I m just scared because in yeh rishta female leads have to go through many seperations/divorce/ miscarriage etc.
