I agree to some parts & disagree with some but yes, if after few months this show doesn't cross 2 then it's in trouble. Mostly when there is a generation leap with new leads without retaining previous actors, and the show is literally almost like a new show, then 1.6 is a decently good trp.

I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I m actually liking this generation more than the previous ones. The fact that there are no popular or known faces helps to relate but the acting is bad ! Roohi and armaan need to improve, especially Roohi. Rohit , Abhira and Dadi sa are doing an awesome job.

This generation has potential, provided they improve the acting, and don't copy ghum story verbatim.

So they directly took the leap as they can't show much with 2 ppl on the show as every episode will be just them.

Bringing back Abhi or even Abhir wouldn't make sense. Makers couldn't write a decent story for them in the previous generation. So, what's the point now? I think makers should focus on their new characters.

Also, isn't Dance + coming back in December? So, with a five day schedule and post wedding drama it might increase. I think all the prime time shows might increase with a less heavier load.

Gen 4 has Akshara alive to promote Gen 4. Gen 3 had no lead characters present from the old gen except Goenka. Still, it scored 2.4 and continued to maintain the top until the end. The reason why Gen 3 had Sirath, in the beginning, was to get a hate track between Akshara and Arohi. And he’s not left with her grandparents but grand grand parents. Usually that’s impossible as then they would be too old to take care but this is itv world and they’re immortal.

4. Akshara monologue - she also lost so many people in her life and has a life growing inside her. How did she start a new life? Work in resort, manage Abhira, and become lawyer too?

5. They could have a scene of Kairav Muskaan leaving with suitcase and all.

Other things they could show was

6. Abhimanyu-Ruhi last scene

7. Proof that shows Ruhi was in car too and had took keys from Arohi bag (maybe some phone recording or cctv in market or anything) - basically to prove AK killed Arohi but her intentions was to protect her and Ruhi who was in the car, she didn’t know the car was started

If she would have remembered abhimanyu, abhinav's fans who are watching this show for abhinav's daughter will not watch.

They kept her name as Abhira to make the audience believe that Akshara respected Abhimanyu leaving her family for her kid.

But this is all promotional stratergy. They wanted abhinav fans to stay because it's abhinav's child. abhimanyu fans to stay because her name is abhira.

but abhimanyu fans hardly care about fl and akshara. As abhira was already dead in december. So they never tuned in to watch.

So now they are balancing epis between giving fbs or abhimanyu and abhinav to keep audience

Honestly, marketing wise the show is an investment so I don't blame Star Plus for holding onto it. The show is a staple and also has legacy viewers like most of my family. The problem is the writing team needs a revamp.

Star Plus is relying on the brand, but TRP viewers are unpredictable so that's a risk. We'll see if it pays off or not in a few months.

It could have been better if they kept Abhir alive since audience were connected to him , he was connected by blood to Abhimanyu and by heart to Abhinav...

If talk about " soul connection " he loved both of his fathers ....

In Armaan's place , it could have been Abhir as ML !

Now they are making desperate attempt please every one .... without authentic story , without a stellar cast

Well coming few weeks will see how it fares if only Abira and Dadiza become loggerheads... then the essence " kitchen politics " mixed with " Babhi devar tangling will work"

Even lost 1 realized and reunited leads atleast before the leap as they wanted to keep lost 1 fans who were lead couple fans happy.

But yrkkh they just thought no matter what they serve ppl will just blindly watch. If they really wanted to bring lost 1 plot. They could have just shown abhira is missing since childhood.

Eventually they can get rid of goenka's rather than making roohi negative as she was sweetest character in gen 3 they could have brought some random girl and made her a villain.

They want to show family also and want to show family can leave your hand at any time.

Like literally yrkkh just proved that family is only for to celebrate but when it comes to delivary, help etc family is the last thing you should approach 😂 so what's the use of showing a big family.

They could have just made abhira was lost post some accident and all birla's died in an accident. Abhira was raised by some one who adopted her. So she literally has no clue she belongs to this family. Ye forced narration of akshara remembering abhinav one time and everyone remembering abhimanyu toh nahi hotha 😂

The story would have been fresh that abhira was married to armaan as she had no clue about her family members. Now its like instead of akshara asking armaan to handover abhira to goenka's she asks random stranger like how she did 28 years ago. Meri beti ka khayal rakhna like seriously 😂 has she lost her brain cells 😂
