Yes DKP lost a fanbase totally thanks to the negativity surrounding S3. Any Bengali or regional original won't fit into a legacy which had it's own fundamentals for 12 years.

Had the season closed within 2 months instead of 2 years the fanbase would still comeback .

Now RS might get his 2.0 trp fans back but closure of S3 matters for the next generation

He has to work on the story for 2.5 + figures.

Apparently he has taken the audience for granted. It is evident in the current storyline. This is what DKP did in S3 and DKP will be doing the same mistake for S4.

They lost OG viewership due to their carelessness and discontented story. Yep, if they had ended the story with Nav death or Abhi death back in August to move forward with next gen then they could have retained viewership. Some would have come back. However, due to their internal issues and various factors, the by-product is present status of Rishta.

Closure, indeed, matters for next season as next gen cannot be stand-alone. Afterall, viewers' current experience/attitude with regard to show is negative which can be turned to positive if they give a good closure which I do not think will be happening.

I have a doubt that DKP could get 2.5+ TRP for next gen at least within a short span of time. I guess we will have to see whether he walks down to the path of Rishta destrution or Rishta reformation.

Star + promotes next gen as usual every day with Abhira scenes. I wonder when they will promote the new story with S4 CAST . I don't even see they are even hyping the next season.

It's really a myth that online offline viewers opinions don't match.. it's just that years ago all this happened via Page 3 columns, magazines, SBS, SBB IVs etc and then word of mouth.. that's how TV casting and image for actors have been maintained

Now it all just happens online and DKP thinks they are being slick pulling off whatever they are. I know atleast 15-20 legacy viewers from diff generations and have their own groups of audience who have stopped watching solely because of Madam being shown characterless and the impending grief of Abhimanyu that people don't want to ruin their day for with no justice whatsoever. Abhir connection is lost too. An even bigger mistake they are doing is taking her into next gen and the shiz promo.

No one really gave a F to who that muftkhor was, period. Some teenagers hyping it should get reality check.

Their gamble is actually happening on showing the "naach gaana" that was dissed by so called owner, with some marriage and vibes from a new cast and family setup. Episodic viewers may watch , continuing is wholely on what that storyline is.

To me they heard towards doom since March step by step

Star is such a hypocrite I won't waste time analysing that group. On one side they are letting Rajan do whatever the heck he wants since dec and they are seeing it's getting nowhere, I mean his 3 shows are going down still channel is like lol ok I will just post Maan abhira clips and get some abuses from online fans. Ak could have been shown as successful business woman, good heart with good brain who stands up for what's right. Goenkas could have better role in story. Same with birlas. If they didn't want to go with abhi...ra 1001 ways were there to show it. Abhi' or ak's memory loss, a complete proper leap like kaira could have worked too. It just shows makers aren't interested in the actors. Shame for them they were quite good.

So true they were never bothered about the story of characters bas apne apne ego mei show ko barbad kardiya and star ko trust esliye hei kyuki yrkkh 14 saal ka show heu aur anupama ne b kafi trp di thi esliye but they should see the current halat of rs shows and take action but nhi inko b bekar ka s4 Lana hei jab s3 ko hi ek accha end ya justice nhi Diya Gaya hei toh they are literally taking viewers ko granted. Esse accha toh ekta hei atleast voh apne leads ko kharab nhi karti kisi aur k liye ya ego ya kisi k liye

Beyond Oct 30 per Sandip Ex SBS, that's the latest I've heard , SBS said a ballpark 2-3 days beyond no specifics on her last shoot date
