The entire leap is about kids being manipulated for various reasons to move the plot along. You should see how detailed my grocery list are. It's a work habit I can't drop.

Her death during childbirth is the most logical exit for her. Makers established her character can't stand alone.

Honestly if they move away for some years it would have been good for them. Come back when the children have grown.

I think back then Abhi wanted to take Manjari with him. Abhi-Manjari-Ak have always been this unbreakable bond in the show. They started it out with Manjari becoming Akshu's Ma before Abhi became her husband. That's why Ak still has issues when Manjari puts Abhi first, cause acc to her she should equally care about her happiness too. Both of them were pretty naive back then, I feel like in these situations there is no right answer. If he left in order to marry Ak, he would have regretted leaving his family behind. So while his and Ak's bond would have grown stronger, the misunderstandings with family would just grow more. Eventually there would be different problems when they came back and stuff.
