Most women do not have the luxury to decide for their lives. I've seen girls of this generation asking permission from their husband and in-laws about their clothing and career and then brag about how they were allowed.

One has to be mature enough to accept that human race isn't going extinct and that it's perfectly normal to give an orphan a loving family. Producers know very well that majority of the audience is still of the old mindset so why will they risk showing something that's still not accepted.

They know viewers still want to see saas-bahu fights, romance of the leads. This is why Akshu remained a doormat and kept folding hands in front of the family who threw her out. They're behaving as if single parents don't exist, or as if she's a burden on her parents so they want her to be married asap. Who cares if she goes to a toxic environment, amongst people who want her unborn baby to be dead, and who might even use her son to force her into submission.

I think..its a personal thing to want a baby or not..I have seen my friends in depression for not being able to conceive . Not everyone can raise other kids as their own . Adoption isn't easy either.. nor is surrogacy & ivf is also expensive treatment .

But in aksharas case, its her choice to move on but moving backwards with the same man who threw her out of his life like garbage is sheer foolishness . She may have been pressured but it doesn't excuse her from going bk to the same person who she called names just a while ago before her husband's death...ultimately she said yes & fell into the same trap she vouched she won't.

Me too. I'm totally into cdramas/kdramas.

Specially this particular show is all about shadi in any condition . They never let anyone stay single /divorced / widowed. I wonder how's arohi spared Their obsession with kids is on another level.

They keep contradicting themselves. In this very show, they had abhir/abhinav & ruhi/abhim . Suvarna goenka & sirat were step mothers. They mocked everything they promoted until now.

If marrying AK with both the kids makes him happy, why can't she allow him to be happy? Is it basically that he will not be happy or Manjari will not be happy seeing Abhinav-Akshara's child around?

Or does she think, AK will eventually agree to get rid of baby (but in her own words, AK still loves Abhinav, not Abhi) and thats why she will start manipulating Abhir?

Why this marriage for love (with no one's nishani) was not applied while Abhi-Arohi was being forced to marry some time back?

Arohi is spared not because she is independent and strong woman. Its just because they wanted to use her as third wheel, as and when required. And going by Manjari's logic, she can only move on within Birla family as Ruhi is Birla blood line. (In Manjari's words, as long as Ruhi is there, Arohi will not be able to move on in a new relation)

People are bashing ak and saying that she doesn't deserve abhir because she is scolding him . can't a mother scold her child.siblings jealousy is natural .ak shouldn't marry to abhi and abhi should also move on from ak.they are abhir parents and they will remain his parents whether they marry or not.they are friends and they can co parent.

Ak don't deserve Abhir because she is not trying to make Abhir puppet like Manyu which Manji maa did/doing

By Manjiri's own logic she never loved Neil as he wasn't her biological son, her blood, like she loved Abhimanyu that's why she hid his paternity from entire family for 20+ years. She let a child get abused by his own biological father. She let Birla's "khoon" dwell on sadness after getting beaten up & thrashed by his own biological father which Harsh never did to Abhimanyu.
