She is literally the person who has LEAST felt his pain for a long time now......but chalo ab kya dwell karna is sab pe

In today's epi, she was deffo in OG Akshu mode throughout....the smiles Abhira were sharing were very warm and natural and even after the hug, she didn't go into any weird shell.

@bold chalega chalega. I’m glad that both of them realized that it was a weird moment (though it didn’t seem like one to the audience) cause of them being co parents and exes. None of that stupid dosti ko pyaar samajh kar baitha non sense.

The hug in the promo was actually awkward....but the shot right after they pull back from the hug was beautiful with the window in the background :)

No, I think the promo is an extension of the current track....they will show some continuation of Abhi grappling with his guilt about Manju and the fire incident and Ak continuing to cheer him up....and there will be some kind of redo of the hug and this time Ak will try to downplay it using the dosti card

It will feel like a cover up only cuz her reactions today with initiating the hug and being so caught up in it shows clearly this isn't just dosti....but that's the excuse she's gonna go with so let's roll with it

I really doubt they are going to do another hug, seems like Abhi is getting extra cautious now. The promo is def misleading the current track itself, they want to show that Abhi is misreading the situation. But in the epi they clearly show he is not reading into anything and feels just as awkward about the hug. But yeah, Ak is def going to be like dosti me yeh sab hota hai. And Abhi will be like whatever to her. I am just glad he is not going to get his heartbroken.

Not really, they both seem to be in the same boat. They hugged ( def initiated by Ak). Then they got awkward and stopped hugging and then danced with the kids. Then later both of them were feeling awkward on how to talk to the other. Ak also said, why I did this to herself. Abhi also same same. So both are just feeling weird about it and want to smooth things over basically. Both were shown distracted by what happened and practicing in mirror on how to talk to the other person.

Basically there seems to be no real MUs yet. They are both in friendship phase and both don't want to spoil it with the hug.

I am assuming the dosti-pyaar conversation is coming, possibly because family members might initiate something now given that Mimi, BP saw them and want to get them back together.

I love how Ak and Abhi both are like everything is perfect now. Ak also talked about Abhis mental health being ok now and I am like, yeh kaha se aya? Then she talked about Abhir and Ruhi doing good at school. Abhi also is like everything is perfect now...... so everything is perfect without Navji ? What about Ak's imaginary "perfect family"?

Exactly! And I am sure that they both will reject, Abhi already expects Akshara’s rejection of their reunion however I feel Akshara will be surprised when Abhi says no also- that he didn’t misunderstand because this will be the first time he will be saying no to any love towards her. It may go something like she is glad he didn’t misunderstand the hug either however why does it bug her that he also said no.
