Just managed to catch up on watching the episode....

Deffo had much better narrative flow than most recent episodes of the show.....it almost feels weird after seeing months and months of every random event being dragged for a whole week at the minimum.....now they are suddenly showing two events in one episode only....lol singing competition got wrapped up today and Janmashtami already started.

Hope they can maintain this pace hereon out if they have finally figured out what narrative they want to go with....atleast it doesn't feel like we have to snooze through most of the epi. Really thankful Muskaan was in the background of this epi too...lol

Singing competition part was quite nicely done and had very warm vibes and interactions between all characters....deffo the highlight of the epi.

As for the Abhira argument....lol have to say it just felt weird for Ak to say 6 years ago they only lost Neil....has she actually forgotten she lost a baby that day too?.....Abhi only made a general reference to 6 years ago and the outcome of her carelessness.....but Ak filled in the blanks herself to presume he was blaming her for Neil's death....if she remembers death blames, how come it's only Neil or Sirat death blames? She's totally forgotten her other baby?

This scene could have been written better even if they wanted to revisit the WD blame game drama.....and Ak should be the last person saying "jo baat dil mein hoti hai, woh zubaan pe aa jaati hai" cuz she still keeps pretending every other day like Abhi is not Abhir's father

That said, the Janmashtami scenes when Abhi was trying to talk to her to clear up the matter did give roothi biwi vibes from Ak's side....not sure if it was intentional from makers but that is how it was coming across that Ak is more roothi hui rather than her usual levels of bitter anger and Abhi was running after her like a husband trying to pacify his naraaz biwi

That is an improvement but like you said don't know what the Makers are going for with Akshara she has become such a Question Mark ❓️ at times. Or we just so use to the bitterness and anger we are just shock when she isn't as bitter and angry in a scene we expect her to be

Yes, it definitely feels kinda unnerving to see an Ak who isn't AS bitter or angry in her retorts to Abhi....we have been conditioned only to expect venom from her so even a few steps down from that makes you feel like you're watching some alien version of Ak and can't be sure if you can trust what intent is behind showing such scenes

Another hilarious thing the makers are attempting right now is showing Ak and Manjiri bonding over being mothers to their respective sons who happen to be carbon copies of each other.....like everyone wants to steer clear of the obvious reason why Abhi and Abhir are carbon copies of each other and are trying to show ADJACENT motherly bonding of ex saas-bahu .....even all the thank you speeches that Abhirmanyu did for the competition all kept referring to their respective mothers as if those mothers don't have a connection beyond being moms to these two sons....lol I mean don't get me wrong - the scenes were nice and warm cuz Ami-Pranali also have that natural chemistry together but it was funny seeing them giggling over similar reactions from their sons while avoiding any direct reference to why that is so

Made some gifs on the Abhi-Abhir dance.....HC-Shreyansh really did a fab job of this and it did look like they genuinely enjoyed doing it too

I don’t know where it’s tart regarding akshara and her zidd of not accepting her flaws. Makes me miss akshara Sr who was so much more sorted. Obviously she had an amazing family. Not like akshu who has the Goenkas who were always toxic. Comparing Akshara’s dadi to mimi. Man that lady was wise while mimi gives Rs 2 gyaan like her great granddaughter. Anyways coming to the epi. As a usual abhi was there helping his son with the competition. I am glad nav is dead otherwise we wud have seen another emotional breakdown. Akshara’s reaction to Abhi’s anger was expected. At least she remembered WD. And that they lost Neil. Warna she was pretending who Neil. Btw the way muskaan is acting after loosing nav is fine. Throwing accusations at abhi even after proven that he’s not guilty. But abhi can’t talk abt her carelessness and what it had cost him. And it wasn’t just abt Neil or babies it was also abt her. Even before WD madam had wandered off to forest with a risky pregnancy. But no one shud qs her stupidity otherwise I will run away. I don’t want abhi to aplologise any longer. He shud say listen I made a mistake which I paid for but so did you. When is your apology coming. Does she think how will Ruhi or abhir react if they come to know how Ruhi lost her dad and abhir his twin thanks to Akshara’s daredevil attitude. And yesterday madam was saying let’s call police when abhi was knocking. Obviously she didn’t think that when goons were attacking muskan it was like let me fight this giants alone. also the fb makes me miss abhira. I don’t think I have watched any scene in repeat mode like I have done today and yesterday with the fbs. Man I wish akshu was a little smart. Abhi was always taken for a ride by the goenkas. I feel if his parents marriage hasn’t been so complicated he would have fallen in love with someone with less drama. Akshara’s singing was always a weak point for him. Maybe it had something to do with his mothers singing. And love is love. It’s not easy to forget ur love. Also the precap is laugh worthy. I don’t think anyone remembers akshara is a widow. Not even her. She looked like the old akshu except the long hair. Last time when her family gifted her jewellery and dress for function nav made sad face and she wore the dress he got.now she can wear whatever she wants.

Yeh pehli story hogi jahaan best father-son award milne ke baad bhi real father is barely treated as Papa .....It's like they are giving him awards in lieu of actually showing his son acknowledging him as a father

Regardless, I suppose these moments should be cherished given how the story rarely gives Abhimanyu any happiness

Its the whole elephant in the room that no one wants to address

Everyone came together to help Abhir and although everyone knows Abhi is the biological dad no one is willing to say anything because of the unintended baggage that subject brings up - custody battle, Abhinav, and essentially how Abhir and Akshara don't really consider him "family". He is Akshara's ex husband. They had a very bad break up. His is just Docman to his son. They have come to rely on him for things and he does his share of parential duties that have been allowed for him to pick up.

But he dare not hope or breathe the word "dad" in this new relationship. Abhi is just going to take what he is allowed to be given by Akshara, Abhir, and Goenkas. I think he has sort of made peace with it or at least trying to. Until Abhir says it or Akshara says it he is just this "relation" in their lives. Its in this weird transitional period.

As the audience we do hope eventually Abhir calls Abhi Daada again and this time from his heart without any prompting. That is all we can really hope for as a first step. Akshara is a totally different story all together.

A lot of people where hoping for some memory loss track of someone either Abhi or Akshara. I guess mental illness is sort of memory loss I suppose people want Akshara to have the mental illness so the 8 months can be officially deleted
