Episode begins with court scene. Aks as defence lawyer asks her client AbhiManyu if he would have handed over legal custody of Abir to late Abhinav had he been alive . Abhimanyu states he would have done the same .

Aks asks him why, he replies because it was his son’s happiness n wish. He could not separate Abir from his mummy papa n give him “Umarkaid Ki Sazaa” .

He could do anything for him, but not take away his happiness .Aks thanks Dr .
Aks states her opinion to Judge . Dr AbhiM fought with himself for Child’s happiness, he was not a criminal , her client had no motive to kill late Abhinav Sharma . He had only one thing that AbhiN had yearned for , his son, but a day before he died AbhiM had handed him over the son . He had no motive . He did not kill AbhiN . Judge accepts the argument and adjourns the court for the day . For further discussing the new evidences and also wants hear closing arguments from both sides next day and will pronounce judgement next day .

Goenkas are stunned . Manjari is teary eyed in disbelief .

After the judge leaves Kairav hurls abuses and attacks AbhiM and manhandles him, police n relatives separate them . Aks tells Kairav Bhaiya that no one manipulated her, it was her decision to be the defence lawyer .

FB scene where Aks goes to meet AbhiM in his cell and asks AbhiM to take her as his defence lawyer , asks him to trust her, to correct her mistake. He signs and gives her chance, trusts her …..FB ends.

Kairav questions Aks , labels AbhiM’s argument as fake/pretence , warns Aks she will suffer consequences . AbhiM feels sorry and asks Aks not to cause rift in her family because of .

Manjari questions AbhiM, he asks her to trust him.

Manjari scolds Abhimanyu for choosing Aks as his defence lawyer, did he fail to find any one else ? Abhi states Aks was fighting his case forgetting her own pain, he had full trust in his choice . Manjari asks what if Aks was taking her revenge , what if she incriminates him ? AbhiM asks mother to have faith in his trust in Aks as she was not the types to have two faces .

At Goenka house Kairav confronts Aks, she explains about evidences submitted at court , he demands to be shown . Bade papa states Aks did not trust her BP any more . He had himself seen AbhiM pushing AbhiN , then why ? Aks says what was seen by him need not be the truth .
Surekha Chachi questions Aks and She states AbhiM did not kill AbhiN. Badi maa and Muskan also tries to argue with Aks . Muskan accuses Aks of favouring her ex husband over her late husband , of considering AbhiM as family n ignoring his her late Bhai ji , his love for Abir .
Aks asks Muskan not to insult AbhiN Aks relationship. Muskaan asks what wrong did she say? Manjari aunty had stated at Muskaan’s wedding , how much she wished to see Aks and Abir with AbhiM . And as soon as AbhiN expired Manjari and Aks both were now fulfilling their dreams . Aks is shocked , Bare papa scolds Muskaan for her insolence . Swarna and Suhasini calm Manish but he ignores their pleas. He warns Muskaan , she better not even think on those lines. Only Muskaan alone was not pained by AbhiN’s loss each family member was pained with the same loss , they were questioning Aks , but no one dare doubt Aks’s character .

Why was Aks always questioned on her character and had to give explanations . If AbhiM had done exactly the same for six he would be considered bechara n sympathised . And now that Aks had done this she was doubted n questioned .

Aks assures Bade Papa that she had the evidence and will place it before court next day . Not as AbhiN’s wife but as AbhiM’s defence lawyer .

Roohi thanks Aks for supporting poppy . Abir is angry with mummy for not supporting his papa . He is “katti with Mummy “ Aks tries to placate him but he refuses to listen to her . He accuses her of taking sides with Docman . Pade papa feels sorry n laments , how much the kids were suffering .

In his cell AbhiM ponders how Aks was fighting for him , despite their divorce and his past accusations against her , his alleged involvement in AbhiN’s death. He regrets how he had not fought for Aks when she was wrongly accused , he failed her when she needed him the most ..

At Goenka Mansion Kairav Muskaan have heated argument over character assassination of Aks by Muskaan . They have face off .

In their bed Abir distances himself from Mummy , Aks explains she had evidences Docman did not kill papa, and tries to win his trust , both weep silently .

Next morning as Abir is leaving for school, AbhiM is seen offering to tie his shoe laces. Abir steps back angrily , Aks offers to do it for him but he removes his shoes angrily n walks away . AbhiRa are concerned n try to reach him but he is not found anywhere in the house , Aks wonders if he had walked out of the house like earlier . She soon notices his duvet sticking out of cupboard . She opens the cupboard n is take aback .
